Ganondorva Dragmire, Reborn Queen of the Gerudo
Ganondorf tried to kill Link, but was himself beaten and brought to the verge of death. With what appeared to be his final breath, Ganondorf tried to destroy his own castle to crush Zelda and Link in the ruins. They survived, but before they could leave, Ganondorf used the Triforce of Power to transform into Ganon for the first time, with the sole aim of annihilating Link. It seemed he would be victorious when he knocked away the Master Sword from Link's hand and sealed the hero inside a ring of fire. However, Link's courage beat Ganon's power and the monster was briefly stunned. Link was able to reclaim the Blade of Evil's Bane and wound Ganon. The seven sages, including Zelda, now opened the doorway to the Sacred Realm and forced Ganon through it, before sealing the gateway. Transformed back into Ganondorf, the Evil King promised to exterminate the descendants of those who had defeated him, before drifting away into the void.
-Excerpt from 'The Fall of the Gerudo King of Thieves'
Ganondorf remained in the void for long years, his power shattered. Only his continued possession of the Triforce of Power kept him from fading and losing himself entirely. Time meant nothing in the Sacred Realm, but it was only a matter of time before someone came to find the Triforce again. And then.. Then he'd have his revenge.
The thief, a Gerudo, found an ancient, hidden gate to the Sacred Realm, and through a mixture of talented agility and intellect, managed to make her way through it's trap-laden interior and to the gateway. But, when she opened it, she got more than she bargained for. All she was expecting was the Triforce of Power.
What she got instead was Ganondorf.
Purple flames engulfed her form, and the back of her right hand was seared in the shape of the legendary Triforce, the topmost triangle glowing a luminous gold. Her very features altered as well. Her irises shifting from a luminous blue to molten, angry orange-gold, and her body growing taller, stronger. A foot, two feet, she grew, until she stood at nearly eight feet in height, her body wiry and athletic, plainly fit.
Dark, almost mocha skin replaced her lighter coloring, and her hair grew a deep, rich orange, from it's darker brown. And, finally, sensation began to fade, as Ganondorf used his will and strength to pry her free of her altered body, and toss her into the Sacred Realm, to take his place, even as he took hers, returning to the world, Triforce still in hand.
Revenge, power, control. These things drove her now. Her body wasn't ideal, certainly, but she would make use of it, accept it until she could reunite the Triforce pieces and regain her original form once again.
It took her mere days to return to her tribe, and prove herself Ganon reborn. Taking the name Ganondorva, for the sake of convenience, she began to research what had happened in her absence. Her new body took some getting used to, and for long months, she practiced with a sword, and with channeling her shadowy magics.
Her armies were shattered and scattered, powerful minions defeated and dead. She was, in truth, powerless, but for her own strength. But, she had been there before. And, she had no doubt that she could rise once again to the top.
Typically clad in desert garb, she's modified it slightly to reflect her position as Queen. A pair of sandals, with her feet wrapped within to protect them from the sand, start her outfit. Into the wrapped bindings are tucked her loose, voluminous green pants, which are both comfortable and practical, giving her full freedom of movement and an agility she never possessed in her male body. An ornate, gold-embroidered belt and sash are wrapped around her hips, into which she typically tucks the straight-bladed sword she wields two handed. It's far smaller than her old blade, but she lacks the strength to wield it in this body.
A rather revealing top, which consists of a chest-piece that's fitted to her body-shape, and is attached to a similarly designed back piece allows her further freedom of motion, while drawing the eye to her smooth, well toned sides. She wears a mantle, worked in thick, well-made leather, with a long, heavy red cloak falling from it. The cloak is as useful for distracting enemies with while she fights as it is for protecting her from the deadly sandstorms of her homeland. Her arms are covered from wrist to shoulder in leather armor, light and rigid, to afford her some protection when fighting. She also wears a pair of jet black gloves. A diadem of gold chains, draped along her forehead and tied into her hair, with a single perfect topaz set in it finishes her dress, and her long, thick red hair is pulled into a tight ponytail that juts from the back of her head, hair still hanging most of the way down her back.
Her magical talents, reinforced by the Triforce she wields, are nothing to scoff at. She specializes in the use of shadow energies, and is able to use them in a number of ways.
Most impressive that she's found with this new body is a talent that seems to throw a scare into everyone who's seen it. She focuses shadow energy inside her mouth, and can thereby transport someone into a shadow-realm within herself by 'eating' them, to drain them of life energy and vitality. It's possible she can do this draining without 'ingesting' someone, as well.
Ganondorva seeks the wielders of the
Triforce of Courage and the
Triforce of Wisdom, as well as
minions to serve her, and ways to increase her own
power.
