Throughout the history of mankind, they have always sought a way to remove enemies, obstacles, and threats discreetly and easily. Stealthy and hidden ways of removing someone without any blame falling to them. Assassins of all kinds formed, from guilds, to loners, to less discreet kinds. Out of all the different types of assassins though, few have garnered more fame or infamy, than the Ninja. The legends and rumors vary from telling to telling, but most tend to believe they were masters of stealth, able to sneak up on any target in nearly any location and remove them. According to some tales, Kunoichi, the female ninja, could make a target vanish with not a single trace of them. Leaving those that followed or knew that target, to only scrounge in confusion, their leader vanished.
A few people have some idea of how it's done, the occasional witness or survivor who is almost never believed. After all who would believe a tale of a woman dropping down from above and sliding their victim right up their cunt? That is however, how many mostly if not all female ninja clans operated, and still operate even to this day. Flying Unbirth Ninjas, as they are commonly known, a specialized, and dangerous form of shinobi training, and the Furinji Clan embraced it wholeheartedly.
An old clan, they weren't quite the first to take the label of FubN, but they were hardly the last, or the weakest. With a strong tradition, they have taken great pride in their history, and their many accomplishments. The clan itself is arranged simply, there is a clan leader of course, and then standard ninja, and those who are considered 'in training.' At all times the clan tries to maintain a memberbase of at least four fully trained ninja, including the clan leader. As such, there is a 'rule of 8' for the clan workings. Where at all times they should try to have both the four base members, and at least four young women in training to become fully fledged ninja of the Furinji clan. If they can they'll have more, but generally the eight total ninja is what one can expect.
In addition to this however, there are 'outer families.' These are members of the clan, special relatives, who do not bear the Furinji name. Seemingly unaffiliated they both supply their daughters to the clans on occasion or when needed, but also fill a very special role. In the event that the unthinkable should occur, and all current ninja of the clan be wiped out, one or more of these outer families will be required to rebuild the clan from the ground up. In this way it is ensured that no matter what happens, the Furinji clan will always exist, even should there be periods in history where they are all but gone.

Furinji Aira | Clan Leader | Aira has been with the clan for decades. Good living, a solid work ethic, and a very healthy 'diet' has helped ensure that despite her age, she looks remarkable. With smooth, wrinkle free skin, and a wondrous body. Her only sign of age is her hair, and her body is still every bit as skilled at subduing her prey as it was when she first became a full ninja of the clan. She cares deeply for the clan itself, and the various girls that make up its membership. For her, they are all that matters, and she will do what is needed to secure their future. If that means that some must be cast aside for whatever reason, be it weakness or liability, she will do so. Outside of the clan she acts quite business like and formal.
Modern Setting Additive: In a modern setting she is a wealthy business woman with investments in many successful companies. This gives her a great cover for providing for the other members of the clan and going where they are needed or hired to go. |

Furinji Eren | Clan Ninja | The only daughter of Aira to be both alive, and a part of the clan itself. Eren's only surviving sisters have done so only by dint of having been sent to oversee or start 'outer families.' Which isn't to say Aira has had many. Eren is the youngest of three, one sent to an outer family, and the eldest having tragically passed away during a mission. Despite this she is a skilled ninja, but one might also notice that she doesn't seem fully human. Well, the Furinji clan's history is not very well known to all, and Eren's father was normal. Clearly at some point in the past the clan had a dalliance with a yokai or two. The blood is clearly thin, but as luck would have it, it manifested in Eren, giving her a few...interesting advantages over her family. However, due to this clear inhuman look she rarely goes out. The eyes could be compensated for, but the ears are simply too obvious. |

Furinji Koneko | Clan Ninja | Easily the most skilled and prominent of the ninja aside from the clan leader herself, Koneko stands above her two comrades easily. With curves that some might say most definitely had aid from a style of vore that was most assuredly not unbirth, she cuts a fine figure. Don't be fooled though, she is very physically fit, and very stealthy, easily sneaking or tricking her way into just about anywhere to get at her targets. Friendly, confident and cheerful, Koneko doesn't seem super shrewd or conniving, but it's mostly a smokescreen, unless you're family of course. If something were to happen to the clan leader before the current crop of trainees is ready, Koneko is the most likely candidate to take over. |  |
Furinji Hikari | Clan Ninja | The fourth of the current fully trained ninja in the clan, Hikari is also the youngest. Only just barely into her mid twenties, she is nonetheless an experienced and well trained ninja. She keeps her composure well and seems fairly confident, even flirtatious, but among her family she's a touch more nervous. All the other Clan Ninja have seniority over her, and such are they that she can't help but feel a bit less capable in comparison, and as a result rarely weighs in heavily on clan matters. |

Furinji Ayase | Clan Trainee | One of the five girls that are being trained by the 'old guard.' Ayase stands above and beyond her fellow trainees. Dedicated, devoted and talented, she has all the hallmarks of being a great ninja. Add in her unquestioning loyalty to her family and her utter dedication to the ninja arts, and she's also a guaranteed choice for a future clan leader. Having Heterochromia, it seems that the differing colors might have a slight influence from the clan's weak yokai blood. However, it is far easier to cover than her aunt Eren's manifestation of it. It just gives her a little extra edge on her duties, for even the trainees are expected to learn the best way there is, in the field.
Modern Setting Additive: In a modern setting, where the trainees would be attending normal high school in addition to their ninja training, Ayase is considered an irredeemable otaku by her schoolmates. With no knowledge of what she really is, they can only take her focus and dedication to being a ninja, and to such weird things as yokai, as the hallmarks of some kind of anime nut. |

Furinji Ino | Clan Trainee | Pulled from one of the outer families at the age of three, Ino has been living with the clan for years now, and is a fairly good student. She shows great promise as a capable FubN, and seems to focus well during training. While not as capable as her cousin Ayase, she hopes to pull her weight in time, but regrettably doesn't have as much focus outside of training. While she does well on her missions, she seems to have an unfortunate desire to be more than just a ninja. She has other ambitions and hopes, but at the very least, they are just extras, something to do in addition to being a Furinji Ninja. While the rigors and downsides of being a ninja do make that difficult, Ino also possesses an innate optimism and cheer that ensures she'll never give up on trying!
Modern Setting Additive: In a modern setting her desire to be more equates to trying to have a high school social life despite the troubles being a ninja causes. Trying to find time to hang out with friends, and keep those friends from getting devoured by a yokai, or a rival ninja. Tough times. |

Furinji Toshie | Clan Trainee | The Daughter of Koneko, Toshie seems rather pleased with her lot in life. While she lacks the sheer talent and discipline of Ayase, she is still a studious student of the ninja arts and strives to please her family in nearly all she does. A solid ninja, she looks to be at least a good mainstay of the clan, which is of course natural. An inept ninja would either be sent to an Outer family, or removed. She herself has no intention of that and works especially hard to ensure that she is as good as she can be.
Modern setting Additive: While she does still have to attend high school, Toshie found a way to avoid clamoring demands for clubs or friends to keep her away from her training. Toshie, while in public or at school, plays the 'shy' girl. Playing at being socially awkward and socially inept, a proper wallflower. Of course, this isn't entirely fake, outside of her clan she's not sure how to handle people that aren't mission targets, which just helps her ruse all the further! |

Furinji Chifuyu | Clan Trainee | Another girl from one of the Outer Families, Chifuyu is the most inexperienced of the clan trainees. She was picked up by the clan later than the other girls after all, due to the family in question having gotten too many children on top of some slight financial issues. So in exchange for a little aid from the clan leader, they offered up the girl that had the most potential. While a bit old for training, Aira was certain that Chifuyu could do well. So far she hasn't disappointed. While she has yet to be on a proper solo mission, only having gone on missions with one of the full Ninja of the clan, she shows promise. A part of her is uncertain about this life though. Far more dangerous, both from potential yokai, and rival ninja clans. A part of Chifuyu wishes she'd never been picked for the clan, but another part of her is determined not to disappoint the woman who helped her family out of their troubles. So, she pushes ahead and keeps training. |

Furinji_Satomi A girl in the clan who shows even more potential promise than Ayase, but alas, laziness and an unfortunate contentment with her current ability prevents her from reaching it.
