Fungi is a fungus with a mind of it's own. The living stalk ranges from 6ft to 10ft tall, depending on it's nutritional intake, and it's cap casts a wide shade over it's body. The cap has a threatening skull pattern to ward off even taller predators, pictured here. This plant-like creature walks and talks like any other inhabitant of the park, although it works off of it's baser instincts almost entirely; it likes draining prey of sustenance, and it likes procreating. Put more simply, it likes to eat and fuck. The creature's preferred method of Vore, when it's body demands nutrients, is to force it's prey into it's body-- either by absorbing them through it's stalk, or by swallowing them-- and keep them held there while it drains them of their nutrients, for days at a time, like a parasite that encases their entire body. This process is not instant, and the prey is numbed to the entire experience, although they might still be mentally aware of it up until their last breath. Those who have managed to escape this fate have described it as horrifying.
While not the same as the spores it uses to procreate and spread it's influence, the Fungi also has the use of special Hypnotic Spores which are useful for subduing creatures that are particular.. feisty. These particular spores merely have to make contact with somebody's skin or be breathed in through the nose/mouth, and they'll have the effect of making the person's mind foggy, making their body hot, or aroused, and much more susceptible to the Fungi's commands or needs. This isn't a perfect solution, but it has worked on most unwilling prey.
The concept of Gender is a non-issue for the Fungi, as it doesn't really have one defined by typical means. It's "male genitals" are more of a fungal ovipositor-- a pliable, mushroom tipped appendage it uses to inject other creatures with it's spores (for the sake of implanting them with it's Mushroom Kids, or turning them into one from the inside), and to tire prey out or weaken them. What some might consider it's "female genitals", beneath the male ovipositor, is used more for draining prey of nutrition without killing or turning them. If someone were to ask the Fungi what it's preferred gender is, or if it had some sort of preferred pronoun, if required, it would prefer the male "he", or "him". The Fungi's Mating Spores have the effect of either growing inside of another creature and becoming Mushroom Kids, or becoming part of the creature and transforming them into a Mushroom Kid instead. These smaller creatures (ranging anywhere from 5 inches to 5 feet tall, depending on the host's original body size) are like the Fungi's minions more than it's actual children, and are often used to hunt down and bring it more prey, or to spread it's spores even farther. They, too, can "fuck" the spores into unsuspecting hosts, and are sometimes the preferred method of doing so, if the host is too small for Fungi itself.
