"Creativity takes courage" so did Henry Matisse once say. And well who am I to disagree? The name is Free, yes people have asked if that's my real name, and they always get the same answer, "it is now". Perhaps you've seen my handiwork around town, you know the random murals that cover up the gang symbols and tagging? Yeah that's all me. Whenever I see something that just needs a bit of color and get some inspiration well there's nothing that stops me. And while that may be considered tagging...I've yet to see anything but smiles on people's faces when they see the results. Normally when people think of artists they think we are all depressed and sad especially in our age. Well not me. Far from it! The world is not a perfect place but why make work that reminds people of that? I like to highlight what's good about the world, what's beautiful, what makes us all unique and special. And it's not just with paint that I express that nuh uh I like to try EVERYTHING.

Anything and everything that gives you the chance to try to make something or even become someone greater then yourself I want to try it all. By no means am I good at everything I try, heh you should see my sculptures, on second thought don't. But being creative isn't about being good it's about enjoying yourself and giving you that break from reality! Be creative makes you feel well..."Free", see what I did there? There isn't much more to me other then I live over a dance studio, which is cool I get to practice my other main passion, and sometimes I'll teach classes when really hurting for cash. But otherwise got a decent job at a local paint store. Friends often tell me I've got my head in the clouds and need to focus on one thing, to get successful and rich, but I'm not looking for fame or riches. I'm just looking for the feeling of freedom! And maybe answers on where I came from and where did my family go but if I never find out then that's okay, just so long as they're happy somewhere I'm not in a huge rush to know. Oh yeah did I forget to mention that? Yep no idea where I came frome or who I am how did I get an apartment? That's where being friendly comes in handy!

My passions will never become a job to me. It's why whenever I do sell a painting I always sell it anonymnously. There is no better feeling in people just enjoying my work that's really all the recognition I need. Still who knows maybe I am a bit of a dreamer and maybe that could come to bite me, but you only live once, what's life without risk?
