Frayna

Frayna is a demon. Of sorts. She is what's called a demon of poison-- Plant based creatures, sometimes appear withered and often have thorns all over them. Can be incredibly powerful and all possess some form of poison, toxin, or otherwise harmful agent. Despite being a plant race they are all quite carnivorous and can't actually eat plants without getting sick.

Poison demons can be insanely powerful. Frayna isn't. She in fact was a laughing stock-- her thorns only cover one arm and they can only act as a paralysis causing toxin. Very rarely lethal, too. In fact, Frayna was sold into slavery to some greed demon to pay off a stranger's debt. She still wants to find whoever captured her and sold her and kill them. But as it was she was a slave, treated miserably. After a week her slaver planned on using her to feed a dragon he had bought, but he got too close to her and she paralyzed him. Fed him to his own dragon actually.

This was to kill him but it ended up being quite useful in her escape. Not that it was readily apparent as the dragon devoured her too. Luckily she found (hurriedly) that a low dose of her toxin could make him drowsy and postpone certain bodily reactions-- like digestion. So when the dragon was let free with its owner missing, she got out with it.

After being "released" from its insides, the plant demon found herself in Nexus. She took a bath at a lake. And then.... she explored, trying to build a new life.
