Back story
Who says all lamia are big.
Some of them never get any bigger then humans after all, and just like snakes there is quite the range of sizes. The only reason most people see the larger ones, is the very reason that Naga and Lamia hate each other so damn much. Naga always grew rather large....they also have no qualms about eating other species of their own race or Lamia...though this has obviously changed with the eating laws placed within the world.
Needless to say, Floretta here is a rare girl. True, the 'miniature lamia' species has managed to flourish once more, and many actually take them on as 'house guests', even if they are more of a glorified, talking pet who eats little and cuddles in the cutest way around your arm. That isn't what makes Floretta rare, as her specific species and many others have begun to flourish once again.
No...she is one of the few true leucistic lamias in existence. Albinism is not rare among lamia, though it does cause the telltale pink tinge on the skin that most associate with their kind. Floretta, on the other hand, is perfectly leucistic. She is completely white on her skin and hair, and she also has blue in her eyes, something that happens only rarely for lamiakin. Often times they are only partially leucistic, with the white on their scales alone.
Because of being born like this, she happens to be very frail and needs a lot of care toward being took care of. Sun -hurts- her if she stays in it too long, and though she has no ocular sensitivity issues toward light, she needs to be in shade at all times, or her skin begins to break out within seconds. So if you do accept her into your home, have a spot for her to lay with an umbrella, or a nice blanket for her to hide under.
Personality
Floretta takes on quite a bit of her ball-python instincts when it comes to humans and larger folks. She tends not to actually try and bite them, as her fangs are actually very small and fragile, no good for biting. Instead, she is more likely to constrict if she is trying to eat something, followed by swallowing it whole...and if she feels threatened, she will ball herself up with her tail, making herself hard to pick up or get to her fleshy bits.
Nevertheless, she does try to act cute and smile quite a bit. Often times she can seem childish, but it is more or less a ruse as people tend to give her more things the cuter she acts. If you get to know her better, its obvious she is a very sweet girl, who likes to coil and explore things and people whenever she can. She also doesn't mind people picking her up and cuddling her as she is quite warm, though don't be surprised if she prefers females to males. Boobies are fun to coil around and girls are softer, which helps with her sensitive skin and scales.
She also tends to like to coil herself around something and rest more then slip into her own coils, so if you happen to have her as a pet, expect her to be around your arm or leg, nuzzling into your lap or around your shoulder, sleeping.
Little things
*Yes, I did that.
*She loves sushi and fish. Get her a piece and she'll coil around it and nibble it. Don't try to hold it out of reach though, she can strike the full length of her body to get her nummies.
*She loves belly scratches...on her scales. Don't scratch her regular belly, she'll wiggle.
*She likes to sit on people's shoulders. Mostly so she can look around.
*She also likes laps, they are warm.
*Don't treat her like a child. You can call her cute, but she -hates- being treated like a child.

For story play...Yes, sex can happen, though you either have to deal with a stretchy version of her, or settle for coilsex if you have penis. As well, she can be a herm if you want.
