Luck can be a bitch, you know? You can have it good, or you can have it bad, from the word go, but the thing about luck is that it tends to change for most of us. MOST of us. Some people never seem to have much luck at all, on the other hand... Firo's never caught a break, to her knowledge. Not a one... or at least, not a big one. Small ones, enough to keep her keeping on, but nothing significant like, say, enough to get her a better life.

You see, Firo's, well, homeless. Living on the street. Has been all of her life, at least all of it that she can remember. Being down on her luck is normal, and her natural state of existence, it seems. Still, she's survived better than many, and it could be argued that she's thriving.... at least, as much as someone can with irregular meals, constantly having to watch her back for predators of various sorts, and constantly moving around to stay safe. She's learned how to stay alive... now if only she could learn how to actually have a good life.

Four feet tall, slender and moderately toned, clad in cast-off clothing, Firo's not sure at ALL of her age. She looks young, though, perhaps ten years old, with pale skin, black hair, and gorgeous blue eyes, which, curiously enough, are slitted like a cat's, or maybe a snake's. Perhaps more like some lizard's, which is fitting, as she's got a slender, lizardlike tail, fully prehensile, and her hands and feet are both 'gloved' with scales, and sport little claws. She's not sure what she is, beyond not human. She tends to keep to herself, scuttling up walls and out of sight if she can when people are coming, or simply fading from view. She only really comes out to watch children, or single adults who don't know she's there. Frankly, she seems timid, but experience has taught her wariness...
