Fireheart

Purple. It's a good colour in all honesty. In ancient history, purple was a very hard thing to come by. In order to get a single drop of purple dye, a certain snail had to be harvested en masse. Very similar to silk, actually. This made purple the colour of royalty, as it was too expensive for anyone who didn't own a tenth of the continent to afford. Nowadays, it's far easier to produce. Either by using a certain mixture of chemicals, or in this case, the magic produced by a certain, very gifted unicorn.

A purple orb floats by, suspended by unnatural forces. Its shape constantly shifts, seemingly unstable in its existence. Inside it, a baseball, cocooned in its little sphere of magic. Not five feet away, Fireheart sat, her nose burried into a book, horn glowing bright. She holds the baseball in suspension effortlessly, a testament to her growing talents. She looks up, eyes focusing. Her horn glows brighter, the baseball flashes, the orb pops! And coming down to the ground is a perfectly round, immaculate conditioned golf ball. A victory, even if a simple one. It's hard teaching yourself magic, especially without people around to help tutor you on what you're doing wrong. The only teacher is trial and error, which has lead to some rather humorous mistakes in the past. She'll never forget when she turned herself into a guy for a week. Despite these shortcomings, Fire is one determined mare, one day she will be a powerful mage. Preferably with her own tower! Big dreams, but what other kind is there?

Fireheart is the daughter of two very interesting pony. Her father, Quill_Weave has given her the body she so proudly shows off. Half pony, half dragon, with wonderful curves and squeezable, fat flanks. Her mother, Fleetwood, contributed some of the stranger things about Fireheart. For one, those beautiful, purple eyes come from the mother's side. Another thing from this side of her family is her malleable body. Her mother is a rare form of goopony known as a "Shiny", which donated some interesting traits to Firehearts' body. She can be solid or in a flexible semi-liquid state at any moment she wishes. Not a magic trick, genetics. Very weird genetics.

Fireheart had the childhood most people would have dreamed of. With a wealthy father and two loving parents, she led a very comfortable life at home. Expensive toys, grilled meats at least once a month, fancy deserts, life was good. In school she had her fair share of drama, going through a few boyfriends, and in the case of one of them, quite literally going through her. She took to the "Rebellious" teenager thing fairly well, becoming rather popular in school, especially after how she and her father handled one of the bullies. At a Wendy's establishment, the bully had shown up with friends, all of them talking and bragging about getting some Frosties and heading out. One of them had noticed Fireheart, and before she could rip them apart, Quill had stopped her. Instead of getting physically violent, he had bought out the store's entire stock of the Frosties, leaving the bullies with nothing. Despite this, there was one thing missing in her life...

She never had someone to teach her magic. All her life she wanted to become this powerful archmage, maybe join one of the guilds around The Nexus. Possibly become a heroic battlemage, but without anyone to teach her proper combat magic, she's had to stick to less dangerous tricks and incantations. This never stopped her, however. She would always practice whatever she could, learning as much as possible, despite the danger. Essentially she would be known as a "Wild mage", and what good mage doesn't have a tower? In her childhood, she found an old, abandoned fort. Now that she's an adult and on her own, she has made this place her home, cleaning it up, repairing certain damaged areas. An isolated place that she can practice her magic in peace, with a simple job that provides plenty of income, and a father that throws in whatever she needs but can't afford. No mage could ask for anything more.
