Fade — it’s a suitable nickname for him, and a descriptive one at that.
Kaiven is his given name, and he is a wolf. He’s nearly six and a half feet tall and some over two hundred pounds, just heavy enough to not appear scrawny and just muscled enough to show that he’s in shape. His fur is an assorted collection of speckled greys, although his belly and inner thighs tend toward lighter shades than most of the rest of his body. A pair of cutoff shorts and a plain black tee-shirt usually cover his torso. His eyes are a peculiar coppery color instead of the usual gold or amber of his species, and they seem to almost ominously glow within the malevolent smirk that can normally be found upon his face.
…Of course, that’s when he can
be seen.
Kaiven is a stealthy individual, capable of almost complete silence when he so desires, and his fur blends into the darkness and shadows to the point that he seems to fade into them. And yet this isn’t how he gained his nickname. Beyond the abilities of simple stealth and the practical invisibility it can give him, when he so desires he can actually
be invisible.
