There once was a creature roaming freely along the area around Nevada. Some locals used to call it "The fleshling" a mysterious creature that no one had really seen but whose tracks were clear for the world.
What were those tracks? Disappearing people of course. "Experiment 348" enjoys the taste of living flesh fighting inside of him as he absorbs it and turns it into mush to add to its mass.
But what is Experiment 348? He was actually a project from the defense department to make an effective silent assassin that could approach, devour and disappear a target. What they did not count in is for Experiment 348 to become too smart and using his abilities to escape confinement and out to an unsuspecting world.
Powers and abilities:
Experiment 348 is a possessing slime which gives him an ample fan of ways to hunt her victims. The first one is movement. Experiment 348 can move through the small cracks in the walls, climb through drain pipes and sometimes just move through normal land at will disguised as any of his previous preys or an amalgam of them to make a new looking humanoid being.
Experiment 348 has a single stomach and no matter how he consumes you you'll end in it still he can chose not to digest you or to accelerate the process. His form filters air but he could 'inject' you with a numbing agent or even a pleasure mix depending on how he feels
Experiment 348 can also possess objects modifying them at a [insert technoblabble here] giving the objects vorish capabilities, maybe a shirt that envelops its wearer, maybe a book that drags you inside maybe even a bed that decided to have a mouth in the middle the options are endless.
His last special ability is that he is indestructible. Cutting him in pieces will only make the pieces search for each other again (but is a good way to escape if I may say so myself). Getting eaten means he will be trapped inside until the predator needs to go to the bathroom and relieve itself naturally. Experiment 348 will then promptly flee. ((It has been known for Experiment 348 to climb down a predator's throat to envelop someone he considers as close to a friend as he could with his simple mind))
Its major weakness is his sentience. If Experiment 348 has eaten recently he works at 100% sentience the closest he gets to 0 the more feral he acts and less control he has on its digestive track

Experiment 348 is an adaptable predator to play as many possible scenarios as I can. Feel free to ask and we could work something out. Want tentacle monster coming out of the fridge? Sure! want to jump into a pool on a warm summer day just to be welcomed to the insides of a slime creature? Of course. You are a bundle of girls having fun in their home and they get eaten one by one by the cake on the table? Yes!.
