Exophus
Hailing from a tribe in the Lost Lands, the lands before time, Exophus is a mystic who can control the spirits and sense them in others. His original tribe was called the Delwa, but of all those people he is the last remaining soul. Exophus served as a healer, prophet, and even warrior for his people until the demons of the 7 Portals ruptured the veil into the Lost Lands and killed all the humans and civilized races. He lost his left eye in the dire battle and was banished from the Lost Lands, nearly dead, by the powerful spell of a demonic necromancer named Krull Ebonheart.
Exophus wanders the lands now, looking for a portal that will take him back into the Lost Lands, a plane of existence which now floats in a limbo of sorts, detached from time and from the mortal realm. Exophus hopes that he can find the Relic of the Elders there, a powerful artifact that the last Delwa Elder buried under a sacred tree. Unfortunately, Exophus has run into a myriad of trials and quests on his way to finding a portal back to the Lost Lands.
Exophus is a tall man with sun-bronzed skin and dark brown eyes. He wears only leathers and animal hides, along with bone trinkets and charms - some of which are enchanted with gems that hold a secret spiritual power that no one knows about except him and the elders of his slaughtered people. He also wears a bone headress when in battle and carries obsidian daggers, usually poisoned. Even though he is a shaman, he has hunted and trained in wrestling and in the use of knives and bows for most of his life and his hardened body is a reflection of that. Taut, smooth muscle is naked along his tanned arms, stomach, and sometimes his chest. His dark hair is wavy and it is often tied back, but when loose it frames his hard countenance and jaw.
