This is Evgen's old account turned into an OOC alt for the reasons of realizing his name didn't have to be so long, and something or other than I can't remember. Yeah, I changed which P.O.V. I was talking from.

Evgen
Sometimes in the park, one may come across a naga resting beneath a tree, soaking in the sun with its coils and otherwise relaxing peacefully. Well, this naga in particular is Evgen Lebedev, a young adult naga who doesn't mind showing off his size or strength at times. The skin of his torso is caucasian, though a bit tanned from the time he spends out in the sun, and it retains heat as, strangely enough, his body is both warm and cold blooded. His torso creates heat which then circulates through his tail also, keeping him from being abnormally cold, and his tail absorbs heat from the environment, helping regulate his body temperature. His scales are a color that match that of sand, decorated with a diamond pattern of brown scales and, of course, the off-white scales on the underside of his naga tail.. He's certainly not the most vibrant of his species, but oddly enough he still sticks out in the park. Recently, his tail has grown the adaptation of a second maw able to be used to swallow down prey larger than his human half can handle. [Though if you want make sure it's in the RP, be sure to say something. I don't always RP with Evgen having this tailmaw.] For an idea of what it looks like, this picture can be used for reference, and to give an idea of how it appears. This is not a picture of Evgen. [And it shall be unlinked upon owner's request.]

Evgen isn't always the ravenous predator he appears to be. Sometimes he has mood changes that leave him rather playful and harmless. Other times he's still playful, but not so harmless, not above having fun with those he may catch within his coils. Prone to have times of softness, one shouldn't be surprised to end up wrapped in his tail only to end up being released after a short time of harmless coil massaging. Sometimes he just feels like being mischievous. Be careful not to think him harmless just because he may not be devouring you.

At seventeen feet long, not counting his human torso, he has plenty of time to grow into an even bigger predator as he ages, and he's not afraid to try and swallow anything if he thinks he can manage to fit it down his throat. Also, he doesn't seem to be very careful about what he's devouring, having been known to devour a sleeping bag with the unsuspecting camper still inside.

General Background
"While this naga may look like a species that inhabits a desert environment with their sandy colored scales, they are actually from the jungles of southern Russia. In modern days, however, they can commonly be found in many of the world's forests, flatlands, and even cities due to them being captured and shipped across oceans and seas as an exotic export. As time went by, many of these intelligent creatures found their way into the wild once more. As of yet, a scientific name has not yet been decided on for this species, and even their culture itself has not named them. They are commonly called 'Desert Naga' though, as previously stated, their origins seem to be that of jungle environments, as their human skins are not as heavily tanned as those of desert races.

These naga are known to be voracious carnivores, and their intelligence makes them dangerous creatures to meet in the wild. Just like many other naga, these ones often swallow prey whole and alive. Capable of being able to swallow an adult human whole by the age of three years, though uncommon, combined with being born with the intelligence of the average five year old human makes these creatures a hazard if untamed.

Size
As individuals of this species age, the most notable change is that of size. At the age of five, their tail has grown to an average length of around eight feet, and one foot wide, human portion appearing to be ten years of age. By the age of fifteen, the males have grown to sexual maturity, and begin seeking females to mate with. Females of this species reach sexual maturity at the later age of twenty-two, seemingly to allow them to grow to a size more appropriate to carrying their young for the sixteen months of pregnancy. Both genders of the species slow their rate of growth around the age of twenty-three, when their tails are at an average length of ninteen feet, and an average of almost two feet wide. Human appearance at this age looks similar to the average eighteen or ninteen year old human.

Added note to Size concerning growth patterns

An odd note not covered in the last version of this publishing is that these naga may sometimes begin to grow another mouth at the end of their tails, making them more dangerous as they become capable of eating much larger meals. The area of the second maw holds the same appearance as a snakes head, though it lacks eyes. It is theorized that this is a survival adaptation, as it allows for the consumption of large meals and may also confuse a larger predator about which end is the actual head. The fangs in the secondary maw carry the same venom as the naga's other fangs, in about the same supply. Indicators for this condition have not been discovered, and the only way to know if one is going to grow in this way is to see it once it begins. It can happen surprisingly fast, within a week. Naga that grow this adaptation are not good subjects for domestication, as it becomes more difficult prevent lethal accidents.
Sexuality
Sexually, this species is similar to their human counterparts. Individuals have been recorded as either being heterosexual, or homosexual, with the former more prevalent and more advantageous to reproducing the species. The penis of the male is hidden behind a slit where the human portion meets the serpent tail, and measures an average of five inches wide, and a foot or more in length. Their testicles are different than a human's. Instead of two free hanging testacles, this species has instead a single organ in the area near the first three feet the tail. Inside, semen is produced and stored. The capacity of these organs varies from one liter being the lowest known and up, with the highest recorded amount being four gallons of semen from a single naga. In older days, these organs were cut out of these naga when killed, and used as bags for storing water or other things needing a tight seal. The female naga..."

Pregnancy
Live birth is the method of birthing this species. Usually only one child per pregnancy, though the highest reported to date of printing is three. Average tail length of a newborn is three feet and two inches, tail width of five inches, and human torso appearing to be that of a three year old. Common practice among the species seems to be to abandon their young to fend for themselves a few days after birth, perhaps the reason newborns have an intelligence equal of that to the average five year old human. The exceptions to this are often seen in settled colonies of this naga, and also in naga who live in human settlements, both of who raise their young until they mature at the age of fifteen.

Domestication
"This species has been known to be tamed and bred as exotic pets easier than other species, however there is also a high number of cases reported where the naga would turn on their owners when not fed properly, instead devouring the owner whole. After the invention of a band that goes around the waist of the naga, preventing the passing large objects into the hazardous stomach in the serpent tail, deaths from these domestic incidents have been reduced drasticly, both of humans and of naga. The band works best with species of naga similar to this one, having two stomachs, one human which can only digest prepared food readily and one serpent stomach which can digest live, unprepared meals.

Partial Guide to Safety
Meeting these creatures in the wild is still a dangerous experience. It is advised if you see one of these creatures in the forest that you turn around and walk away as quietly as possibly if it hasn't noticed you yet. If you have been noticed, then run as fast as you can away from it. Do not attempt to climb a tree to escape, as they have been known to have tails strong enough to break down thick trees, or even just to wait until you can no longer remain in the branches. While not widely known, this species also has a venomous bite. The poison has not been recorded lethal in any dosage, but paralyzes most muscles in the body. It leaves the function of the heart, lungs, and other vital organs alone and only stops movement of the inflicted. While the venom wears off after a few hours, a cure has not been discovered that works immediately."
