Age: 163

Appearance: Eros could best be described as a bit of a Pretty boy, and a Cat Boy at That. Eros is a short and young looking cat boy, 4"10 and 2 centimetres to be exact.

His hair is as black as midnight as is his ears and long tail, as is any clothes he wears. His eyes are a golden amber due to his "Father's" Influence in him.
His small stature and body make him appear weak and frail, even if that could not be farther from the truth.

His usual attire is a long black coat with the sleeves removed on them, leaving his arms bear except for the finger-less gloves he wears. The coat has an extended neck collar, extending upwards to cover a good portion of his face, leaving just his eyes peering out from the top with his usual emotionless stare.

Underneath said collar, the rest of his face would actually be quite normal, if not cute do to a bit of baby fat on them. The coat has a silver zipper going from bottom to top and includes many pockets along it for what ever he may need to carry. The end of the coat stops at his waist and picks up with a pair of tight fitting black pants which hug his skinny legs and hips. He may occasionally not wear shoes, but when he does he wears casual black shoes that are in pristine condition.

Creation: Eros's birth 163 years prior, began rather violently. His "Father" Cornelius Hazelius; a renown magician in eastern Europe, who was always looking for ways to increase his own power, devised a spell that would both bind his soul a dark god, and thereby gain control over a substantial amount of power.

As he began his ritual deep inside his manor, he immediately knew something was wrong as the magical array he had constructed began to tear itself apart in trying to restrain the eldritch forces that had been summoned. As he tried to salvage his spell, he knew he was doomed to fail, his only regret in not leaving a successor to his craft. As the shadows he unleashed fell upon him, consuming his mind, soul, and body, the shadows began to fill up his form, the influence of a certain elder god reaching out in all directions, trying to pull in enough life force from its surroundings to be able to create a vessel for its collective will.

What it lacked though, was a template for a vessel. in the whole minute it took for the spell to fail, roughly 45'000 people and countless other living beings to be consumed by the spell in a 50 mile radius, all it was able to use as a vessel was the two nearest life forms it had consumed, the Magician, and his little black cat that kept coming back. The life force of all those souls was blended as one along with that spell, acting as a conduit for a darker force.

In a way the magician did not fail in his goal, a being that could control these powers, and Eros was born. What was not intended was for the elder gods to further extend their influence into the mortal realm.

Eros's first moments in the world, we're ones of confusion, who was he? Why did he hurt? Why was he crying? As the voices and pounding in his head slowly subsided, Eros would gradually gather the few fragments of memory from the one, that was part of him, the broken magician, who a small remanent of him still survived inside of him. He drew upon his memory as a reference about what happened.

In the later years, as he still struggled to recover all the memory's he possessed but did not have access to, as he recovered more and more, he began to develop his own personality, heavily influenced by the forces that made him up. In this way he as well learned how to manipulate the world around him using magic.

His body then was as it is now, that of a younger male, ageless in its growth, something Eros had quickly figured out as the years went on and his body remained unchanged while he watched boys that seemed to be his age grow older.

The only interesting thing around him that seemed to change, was the world's quickly developing technology. Science began to drive him, the urge to solve the mystery's of the world, and hopefully about himself. 150 years after his birth, he had been building a life for himself, inventing machines, researching what ever suited his interests at the time, and by age 151 he used the large fortune he had accumulated to begin his own research facility, where he could do as he willed, his own playground of the world's wonders. To this day he continues to discover new technologies, and is the only scientist to actively incorporate magic into his discoveries, at least publicly.

For Eros, its not about the money that many governments pay him for his research, but its about the science, and hopefully answering his own questions of who or what he is.

Personality: Eros is very self driven, doing what he must for his own goals, be they selfish or other. He normally regards other with no more than a few words or actions, and doesn't think much of mortals. In short he can be an arrogant asshole depending on how he sees you.

If someone strikes his interest though, he is quite a bit more talkative, and will happily explain things to them. He enjoys talking about his discovers, even if he does not appear to, due to his monotone voice that always seems to have a hint of boredom to it. A small facet of his personality that very rarely shows up, is his interest in other people that look like him, namely people of the feline persuassion, Male ones. While he wouldn't go as far to say that he has loved anyone, he has gotten close enough to some Males as to almost be called romantic, even occasionally joining someone in a bed, but that topic in a common conversation will either cause him to blush mostly under his hood, or change the topic as it confuses him greatly

Powers: Eros is a heavy magic user, and even though he rarely likes to fight with others he is more than capable of it. He tends to instead send massive golems after anyone he deems a threat, but if they we're to be defeated, he might be inclined to fight with his own hand.

His magic relies on his complete concentration, and making very small movements, he cannot cast well while having to run around, and has developed very sharp defensive and counter offensive spells, mixing the powers that makes up his body with other magical elements. In a spell fight he is very diverse and powerful, being of a decently long age he has plenty of time and experience to come up with and train his powers.

Ageless: Due to the massive amount of life force that went into his making, Eros' body is near immortal, at least age wise. With just the combined lifespan of over 45 thousand people he has no idea just how long his natural life would last, though using certain magics uses that life force inside him, lowering it.

This does not make him immortal in truth, he will eventually die of old age, and can die of wounds if they are severe enough to overwhelm his defensive and regenerative powers, though his killer may find something worse then him if his body is killed. If the eldritch forces and magical energy that make him up we're to be released from their vessel at once in the event of his violent death, a catastrophe on the scale of his birth would likely occur in a much more... explosive fashion.

Reforming: In the event of certain conditions, his instincts will automatically attempt to salvage him by pulling his essence through other pocket dimensions before his physical body is fully destroyed, another reason he is incredibly hard to kill.

Shadow Magic: Being born mostly of beings of shadowy forces, he has massive amount of potential invested in that one art. He can use shadows for a multitude of different spells, including using them to consume a being for their life force, and adding it to his own... And he may just be tempted to devour their souls as well along with their bodies.

Golem Magic: He has created three meter tall metal plated golems to act as his multi-purpose muscle.

He uses these for capture and containment of troublesome creatures, using their large club like arms to bludgeon their target into submission. In addition to their offense capabilities, their forms are augmented by layers upon layers of metal and Eros's personal spells to keep them intact against all but the strongest attacks.

In their chest cavities, are small chambers to contain pacified targets for study. The targets inside could either be held in there via various magical and physical constraints, once something is held in those chambers, they are not getting out, unless they happen to have the strength of a Deity. That chamber could also be used to dissolve them into a fully liquid form, of course this is only if Eros has need for that, he prefers targets taken alive, but if all he needs is their DNA to research their traits... well they might be better off dead and melted.
