Emerald came about when the original Safira cast a spell shi had picked out at random a spell from hir Book of Nature Magick, which shi had bought from
Natrix's shop, along with another more advanced book on nature magic. During hir transformation, shi became female, and being part plant, part regular neko, she survives on sunlight mainly, though she can get nutrients and survive on regular food and people/creatures/animals. When she is in a situation where her survival is threatened, a pod grows out of her, falls to the ground, sinks into the ground, and GROWS into another plantperson clone. she can often be seen with a small neko plant-creature that she calls (working on getting a name).
