Yes, deer are at the bottom of the food chain. That's a given. But Ellyrna doesn't see why they're always seen as protectors of nature. Personally, she lives in a city. In a rather cold part of town. No trees for miles.
In fact, Ellyrna doesn't like the woods. She's at the bottom of the foodchain... the wilds spell almost certain death! Nonono. She'd rather live at home, do her job as a desk employee at some big company, and live her life.
Of course shit doesn't always work like that.
As much as she denies it, Ellyrna doesn't actually follow the whole "deers are vegetarians" thing either. In fact, working as an intern in her company is one of the most dangerous jobs there is.
Sure, everyone knows she's eating them, but noone really complains. She's good looking and a good employee. It's like how everyone knows the new girl isn't 20 but they pretend to not notice her age, just less "being polite" and more "she's harmless otherwise so whatever".
And so help her if she actually gets a wolf of any kind in her grasp, her entire species will receive vengeance!
