Fan alt time! I promised to other people that I'd start refining and fleshing out this profile, and it's about time I carry out on that promise. Let's get into this little lady here, Elise, who is apparently named after some type of car, but I've never seen or heard of a car by the name of Elise. Carerras, Novas and Acuras, sure, but Elise? The fuck, Keiji Inafune? Something-something Robot Masters, animal Mavericks/Irregulars, and now car psychics? o_O Whatever weird naming theme is going on, let's get down to the world of Elise's origin; the 3DS Shop exclusive title, Azure Striker Gunvolt.

Some unknown length of time into the future as of this writing, people possessing a psychic power known as Septima (Seventh in Japan) start appearing, and they quickly start being feared by the general populace. The Sumeragi Group, a large, world-wide conglomerate, tasked itself with bringing peace and order to the world by rounding up psychics. But, unbeknownst to the world, this "Psychic Protection" as the conglomerate calls it, takes the form of concentration camps, where the psychics have horrific experiments performed on them on a daily basis. Elise is one such victim of those experiments, having been experimented on badly enough to result in a literal split personality when she taps into her septimal abilities. In order to do so, she'll need to be given a sword-like device by Sumeragi, which contains all of her septimal abilities to prevent any accidents. She's one of seven adepts that Sumeragi employs to protect their assets, all of which are called the Swordsmen. Incidentally, they all happen to be named after cars, but that's a topic for some other weirdness.

Spoiler notice for this particular paragraph, particularly the later sections. Pictured to the left (or above, depending on your screen size) is the more commonly-available original side to Elise, a weak-willed, meek little woman who apologizes considerably for just about anything she sees as a shortcoming. It's not too hard to imagine that she's a bit easy to spook as well. The Sumeragi-induced second personality is something of another case entirely. In comparison to the knee-knocking cutie, "Inner" Elise is a dominatrix. Strong-willed, possibly demanding, and smugly unpleasant at times. Can I get a "Moka Akashiya incident" from somebody in the room? Even worse is the rarely seen THIRD personality which, in an abstract, is described as "LEEDLE LEEDLE LEEDLE LEE". An axe-crazy, demented piece of work who seems to aggressively facesit whatever line exists between bloodthirsty warrior and beast. Oh, and all three seem to know a slight thing about pole dancing.

What got Sumeragi so interested in Elise to begin with is her Septimal ability known as Resurrection. Using her powers, she can render someone immortal, revive them outright, or turn them into a zombie. I'm not entirely sure to what extent she can actually do all this, but you can imagine that this is a pretty powerful ability, especially since in her stage, all of the human personnel aside from Gunvolt and herself are purple zombies who can induce some serious interface/gauge screws.

As for fetish play, let's have a small breakdown: "Outer" Elise is prey and utilizes a lighter purple. "Inner" Elise is a mostly-pred switch with a darker purple. Elis3 (the crazy third persona) is another mostly-pred switch who utilizes something close to black.
