After she was selected to become a part of of the elite (and colorful) unit of youths called Ekaranger, she was given a cellphone and watch which enabled her the power to transform into Eka Pink!

Kasumi Sakura is Eka Pink, she is a bubbly and kind girl who loves to play dress up when not on duty usually looking at the many stores in the Nexus and sometimes drags her team along either as judges on what outfits look good or for the female members drags them in to join her in dressing up.

Despite this she is very Generous and kind and won't hesitate to help innocents or her friends.

Sadly she has one weakness...she hates slimey things, which has caused some trouble in the past, but she can fight through her weakness for her friends.

Ekaranger is a sentai (task force) unit which was created by a secretive organization to unforgivingly protect the people of the Nexus area from the dangers of 'Predators' with vore capabilities. Each Ekaranger is given a watch and cell phone, that rub together and transform their wearer's clothes into a unique, high-tech (spandex) battle-suit which gives them strength and helps protect them from damage and stomach acids alike, as they save would-be unwilling prey from predators whenever help is needed.

Ekaranger are equipped with small blasters for firing projectile heat-based lasers.

Each Ekaranger has a weapon unique to them, Eka Pink can generate a Fan which she can use as a slashing weapon using the razor sharp edge of the fan or can use it to form into a small shield.

Ekarangers' unique weapons can combine to make a powerful canon, mostly used for stunning and incapacitating nearly-defeated predators. (Ekarangers don't kill)

Secretly, the organization behind Ekaranger is studying vore abilities to experiment with implications, and possible use for constructing bio weapons that feed themselves. If an Ekaranger takes a tour through a predator with their suit on, and survive the encounter, the body suit will record digestion information which will be able to enhance their own suit's vore enabling abilities.

For example, if an Ekaranger is Oral Vored while wearing their suit, and they survive, the organization will upgrade their suit, giving the ranger the same oral vore ability, if the ability possible to duplicate.
