Eistir.
Also known as:
The Spirit Collector (Imperium)
Da One Wot Breaks Our Gubbinz (Orks)
The Soulless Abomination (Eldar)
Eistir is, in a fashion, a servant of the Chaos Gods. Or, rather, the servant of a servant. You see, Eistir is a rare and bizarre creation. A Daemonforge.
In fact, she's the only known Daemonforge... created specifically for her mistress, she is a living construct, a bizarre automaton given life.
She's also one of the most dangerous, terrifying forms of life to ever crawl out of the Warp. Wholly unnatural, things just don't happen as they should around this girl.
Not that she cares. Relatively simpleminded, she spends her time tinkering with things when she's not devouring stuff or summoning technology. That's really all she does for fun, is tinker. She'll read, sometimes, or watch monitors... though it doesn't matter if it's static or the funniest show on primetime, she just stares at it anyway.
She's not mean... not at all. She doesn't really care, in fact, unless you're opposing her on a battlefield. You could crawl into her lap, and as long as she identified you as neutral or better, you could recieve a warm hug and snuggle. Well, unless she's hungry, but we'll get to that.
She rarely speaks, and when she does, she's quiet about it. She's not shy, she just doesn't have much to say to folks. Though, she has been known to grow fond of people, and trail along with them for a bit... how this affects their health, it's difficult to say~
She's very easy to attract with new technology she's not seen before... but, beware if she rejects it as inferior. She'll likely not talk to you anymore!
So, what is a Daemonforge? We'd best start a list... we could be here a while.
---Eistir's Daemonforge Abilities---
Absorb Energy - The primary ability of a daemonforge is to absorb and eat energy. This could be many things... the heat and life energy of a living creature is one. The Warp energy of a daemon is another. The power cells of an opponent's weapon could work. She can even absorb the kinetic energy of a bullet, or the coherent light of a lasbolt before they strike her, if she's paying attention. A body completely drained of energy is still alive, and under her command.
Devour Machine Spirit - In tandem to sucking energy, Eistir can devour the machine spirit of an enemy vehicle (or possessing spirit, if it's Chaos. She can even eat the AIs of drones!). These are her favorite foods, with the more powerful vehicles having better-tasting Machine Spirits. Eating a Land Raider's machine spirit will plump her belly up good, while devouring that of a Warlord Titan will likely send her into throes of ecstasy. It takes her a while, though, the tougher the vehicle is. If she eats a Machine Spirit or equivalent, the vehicle is slaved to her permanently!
Abomination - She also serves as a mobile disruptor... while this serves as a convenient way to jam enemy communications, it works wonders against enemy psychics. The more powerful the psychic, the more difficult it is for them to tolerate her presence. She can turn this ability off if necessary. Normal folks might be a bit unsettled by her, as well.
Machine Curse - If she doesn't have a chance to enslave an enemy vehicle, she can easily disable it with powerful pulses of energy from afar, or if she gets up close, damage it via direct physical contact. She can cause severe damage in this fashion, though she prefers to leave machines intact.
Technician - Of course, she can also do the opposite... reversing damage dealt to a machine, even one damaged ages ago, restoring something as brutalized as a rusted hulk to its former glory.
Forge - Her most powerful ability, Eistir is able to conjure up any weapon, wargear, or vehicle she has -ever- encountered. The time to summon it up is proportional to the power/size of the object. If all you want is a stack of Ork Shootas, she can give you enough to outfit a platoon in a few minutes. If you want her to bring you a tank, better be prepared to wait an hour or so. A Titan? Bring a sleeping bag and some food, you're gonna be waiting for a bit.
Hairsnare - Eistir's long, glowing tresses are essentially infinitely long, regenerating limbs. She can use them to channel her Curse or Absorb Energy abilities, and they have a few abilities of their own. Using an oppressive heat and a numbing liquid, her hair can break down the physical form of an organic captive and add them to her body... or suck their energy dry... or tangle them up and use them as a battery.
Incarcerating Gut - Eistir's stomach is... well, she's a living construct, so she doesn't need to eat like most creatures. But she's still got a stomach, and a throat connecting said stomach to her mouth. She can easily gulp down something her size, maybe a bit bigger, and hold it in her gut... from there, she can do lots of things. Melt it away with acid... convert it into useful biomass and add it to her form... hold it prisoner and leech energy from it... tease and torment it for days, maybe weeks on end... apply intense pleasure, or debilitating pain... you name it!
Saliva - Eistir is able to use multiple types of saliva, but only one at a time. She can generate acidic slime, a paralytic numbing agent, a body-warping red slime (this will convert any organic material into similar red slime, which she has full control over), a biomass-altering green slime (she can use this to turn local flora or fauna into traps for the unwary) a brutally powerful aphrodesiac, mind-altering drugs, and gobs of black goo (mainly for setting traps, as well). Why all of these odd things? Well, she loves to experiment, to tell you the truth. Seeing the different things she can do to the living. Her preferred saliva delivery method is via a powerful kiss, probing her tongue down the target's throat.
Helm - Eistir's powered helm uses a large amount of stored energy, formed into 'power spikes', to keep Eistir's abilities in check. If the helmet is destroyed, she can repair it, of course... but, while she's doing that, she's likely also devouring everything in sight.

From all of this, we can discern fairly easily that a Daemonforge is dangerous, ne?
Believe it or not, Daemonforges are meant to be noncombatants! At least, in the sense of not actually -fighting-... they're powerful mechanics, walking armories, mobile sensor/psy jammers and tools for disabling vehicles. But, you won't ever see Eistir (again, the only Daemonforge, for now) go into a rage and slaughter hundreds of enemies like you might another daemon.
Granted, she'll eat a few, but she's not very hostile at all! In fact, if an enemy soldier would just drop his gun and snuggle up, he'd probably find his 'port in the storm'!
