Ehnwy is a forest giant. Perhaps a bit taller than the standard fare, her ancestry traces back to some progenitor of the elven races. Therefore, the language of her tribe is a primitive ancestor of the Sylvan breed. At the same time, it is unfair to really call her people a tribe. Sicne they are dispersed across a large swath of northern forest, it is rare to see more than one at a time unless they are a particular family. Ehnwy herself left her family when she was fifteen, to set out on her own to establish territory and the freedom to dabble. Built of a particularly bottom heavy design, due to heavy walking during hunting, she is nonetheless predisposed to a chubbier feel that keeps her warm even in the winter months. Thirteen years have not changed that.

The northern woods is an unfair term. The tress of her homeland actually stretch from coast to coast along the continent of Uln, the only slightly smaller sister to the developed nations of Ahln across the ocean. These are merely translations of the common tongue into her language. The tracts of land she calls home are considered inferior (Ul, instead of Ahl), inhabitated by more reclusive races that have yet to truly band into a cohesive whole. Wood elves are the closest to a true nation among the wilds. Humans in particular see this as divine providence to tame the sea by might of technology, and settle themselves upon fresher lands.

Having come to own a quaint piece of ancient woods near the coast, huddled between a stoic mountain ridge and the edge of the continent, she has set up camp in a cave nigh to a river. That was more than ten years ago, though. The rock has slowly been chiseled away to form a more spacious retreat, and trees outside the entrance act as storage for drying food and pelts. Finding enough fabric is always a chore, so she makes sure to use the majority of what she catches. Many people might call giants stupid. Certainly, against the greatest academics Ehnwy is bound to lose. She hasn't touched a book in her lifetime. She has, however, learned through experience and understanding with nature. Ehnwy is a druid. Not the best out there, but she has learned herbalism on her own, and through effort and a bit of luck can cast a few, low-level spells.

Her disposition is always optimistic, with a long fuse that can eventually burn through. As a person, she is contemplative, putting forward an air of humor or wonderment to belay expectations of her cunning mind. Honestly, it is sometimes the easier strategy to deal with situations when you are unfazed by those many times smaller. Although she has no particular hate toward elves, their constant superiority does grate. In general, she finds humans cautiously interesting. Their perspectives and ideals are as numerous as their population, representing simultaneously the best and worst the world has to offer.
