Being one of the younger angels, Effy has some issues with authority and with following directions exactly as they were given to her. In her eyes, the steps you take to get from Point A to Point B don't matter as much as actually arriving at the intended destination

For all intents and purposes, Effy appears to be a normal human girl-- her wings and halo only appearing to those with strong spiritual powers, or a connection to the paranormal (that is, of course, unless she wants to flex and show off her inhuman attributes). The body she uses is a vessel she's had for quite some time; the soul that originally owned the body has been kept safe within, body frozen in time for years as Effy has held onto her first and favourite vessel. Effy's actual being is just a blinding orb of bright light that will burn the eyes out of any that are unworthy of witnessing her true form (which happens to be most people).

Effy holds a multitude of jobs, all serving Heaven and Creation alike. For some centuries, she's acted as a jailer, an interrogator, a miracle worker, and a healer; each task completed in a way that is so... uniquely "Effy." Her colleagues and superiors don't often approve of her methods, but rarely intervene, so long as she gets the job done within the time table she's given.
