Before Disappearance
Edward is the son of a scientist accused of multiple crimes against humanity, ever since he was little he showed an interest in his fathers work and wanted to one day carry on his work. When Edward's father died he started to collect multiple scientists all around the world to continue the research that was incomplete, finally the day came when the project was finished it was portal device that unlocked mankind's first contact to another dimension. But when the research was to be announced Edward disappeared along with the device
Disappearance
One day the sources of his illegal funding were found out by a single detective who decided to end Edward's life since he had been accused before but slithered his way out again and again. He approached Edward but was taken down and killed, Edward used the portal device to hide inside a desolate dimension where he stored his stolen property and planned for a new facility free from the grasp of law
Construction of Vortex Industries
After a couple years of abducting death row criminals from multiple dimensions he collected a large army to work under his command as they had no other place to be. Edward also used these criminals to silently capture brilliant scientist who would be forced to work for him under the threat of losing their families. With the aid of the scientists, machines were built that aided the criminals in building the large facility and making it house tons of specimen storage and accommodation for the scientist
Vortex Industries
The large building houses six floors and the company specializes in research using human subjects, the portal leading to its dimension appears suddenly in different dimensions and unfortunate people might find themselves becoming slaves or food for the monsters inside
Vortex is always looking for new employees and will take donations as monsters and research subjects, valued customers are appreciated and Vortex values itself on the quality of its weapons
Edward Walker
The enigmatic leader of Vortex Industries in his previous life he had a promising future which quickly disappeared after his run in with the detective. Edward isn't above using illegal means to get what he wants, he is an expert manipulator and uses his looks to his advantage
Acererak
After so many failures Edward could not handle his weakness anymore. He sought the power of immortality through other means bringing himself to Acererak. The lich granted Edward with immortality in exchange for his soul and servitude. Now Edward has to kill someone each month to satiate his bloodlust granting him the following abilities
- Detect undead
- Hide from undead
- Lich's Immunities: immunity to cold and electricity damage
- Paralyzing Touch

During a meeting with the mother of chaos Edward drank her blood gaining immunity towards mind control
Finally Edward has been taken down, he was petrified and cannot function without outside help. He resides at the warehouse of his enemies where he will be monitored closely
