Edelina is a rather nice-kind mermaid, with a big appetite, a soothing voice, some would say shes a siren instead, for when she sings all life forms around usually try to get nearer to her to listen, her lullabies have even been to known to make an entire ships crew fall asleep. Being restricted to water her whole life she doesn't know many other sentient creatures, mostly the 'stupid' ones, she even had to deal with the occasional shark or squid. Most fish and other sea creatures tend to try and stay away from her for her appetite though, she doesn't have to eat often though, because her digestive system is rather weak, so her prey is usually in there for many hours, days, even sometimes weeks, it depends on how big and tough they are, and air seems to somehow stay inside of her body as well as water, so they are very much alive most of the time.
