Edelgard

Edelgard von Hresvelg is the heir apparent of the Adrestian Empire and the prestigious house leader of the Black Eagle house of Garreg Mach. Given the state of her father, the current Emperor's health, it is assumed that she will take the throne and rule herself soon. When that day comes, one can be certain that the continent of Fódlan will never be the same again, for better or for worse; she is not the kind of person who would content in becoming a mere political puppet like her predecessors!

She always holds herself with a dignified air, able to command a room with a stern voice, or speak as equals with her friends and allies with words of melancholy and wistfulness, generally acting in a way that would be expected of someone of her status. Aside from leadership and combat, she is talented in painting portraits and dancing. Though underneath the soft facade, she can be incredibly cunning, ruthless, and ambitious, able to lie and decieve without a second thought. Her greatest enemies that she professes a great desire to destroy are the Church of Seiros and the nobility that value the crests of their birth so highly. Though she does not revel in wasted lives, nor is she a sadist of any kind, she does absolutely believe that the ends justify the means.
