Ecritica was a lawyer to be feared. Essentially, Manfred Von Karma, but even worse. She wasn't cheap but she always got her client a win. She's an expert orator and an even better forger. On defense, police would find that they had mishandled their smoking gun and it was inadmissible in court. As the prosecution, her silver tongue could convince the jury of just about anything...

She had a knack for writing the world her way, with both her voice, which could sway a jury, and a style-matching hand. Perfect forgeries, down to the handwriting and even the diction. Ecritica, for this reason, didn't take on a job lightly. She was worth big money, and she had never been caught.

One day, while sorting through dusty files in the basement of an evidence lockup, to prosecute her case, she stumbled across a dusty old box. She couldn't tell why, but it seemed to call for her...when she opened it up she found... a law textbook. She just laughed and picked it up, and then felt a burning, shooting pain in her hand. She winced, trying to drop this scalding hot...thing...as a magic circle seared itself onto her palm. The law textbook's cover morphed away, revealing a rather...dusty looking cover that read "The Law." The author was listed as...Ecritica herself.

She opened it to find hundreds of blank pages.

She would soon face a moral dilemma, one where a side of her that had not been seen in ages won out. She submitted her resignation from the bar effective immediately when she realized what she had stumbled onto.

"How can I interpret and uphold the law...if I have the power to make it?"

The tome, she had discovered, was absolute. With a few sentences, the world could be hers... but something buried in her from childhood, a goodness not seen from her in years, won out.

She took it and left, writing herself out of that world and into another, hoping it would be useless there too.

But, she would soon find, it was a tome of Absolute Law. All would follow what she decreed there, be it the beasts, the birds, the humans, or the celestial objects in the sky.

...And then she was terrified, and attempted to toss the book away, where she discovered the following.

• It cannot go more than 50 feet from her. Attempts to do so make it bounce off an invisible barrier and back towards her.
• It couldn't be destroyed. She threw it at a speeding car, she threw it in a fire, and it always came out fine.

The book now follows her wherever she goes, as she seeks to make a living and use it sparingly in a new line of work.

For now, and forever, would she be the Goddess of Law.

I'm looking for people willing to be her "friend", to give her an outlet...and to put ideas in her head for how to (ab)use her power. Given the right wrong influences, she could become quite the selfish deity...possibly all the way to Neutral Evil. She's had some time with tinies to enjoy herself, but has so far never even considered eating one...perhaps you can change that~
