Say hello to Dusty Tome. Or..... Don't. Chances are, you've never even seen this unicorn, he's got his nose buried in a book back at his house. Which he rarely ever leaves.
And even then, it's only to go pick up a new book, or if he must, go out to purchase something to eat. See, Dusty is a researcher. That's his special talent. Really. Just researching. He has possibly one of the most complete collections of books on magical subjects in equestria, maybe even rivaling the royal library. Not that anyone more than a couple people have ever seen said collection..... Being allowing into Dusty's house is a true sign that he views you as a friend. A fair portion of the books in his library are one of a kind, and you being there means he trusts you, a lot.
Dusty is actually a *formidable* wizard, if roused, having studied many books on magic from unicorns long past, and even written a few of his own books, now. Of course, the likelihood of seeing him use his magic for anything other than a bit of convenience here and there is very small, unless you annoy him while he's reading, then he might get you out of the way somehow.
