Marzipan is a creature made by Esmeraude out of cake and sweets to stop the Sailor Senshi. She had the power to turn her hands into piping tubes and spray icing at targets, transforming them into sweets. Alternatively, she could encase victims in icing or trap them in cakes and other sweet treats, making them fragile like candies. In one version she was able to speak. Water horribly weakens her cake body, leaving her vulnerable. She was destroyed by Sailor Moon.

This is the same creature, Living again for some reason.

Marzipan possesses the same abilities, the desire to spread some 'negative energy', and an additional hunger. Operating for so long, seemingly without a creator to give her power, she requires a bit of fuel to run. Luckily, she is more than capable of obtaining food.
So, while still evil, and while still seeking to 'destroy' any magical girl she finds, she is much less outwardly hostile than when encountered previously. All the energy she's been getting from humans might have changed her a bit, or was it when she came back from the dead? The world may never know~
