Gestalts

Gestalt, an artificial race of lifeforms made by taking the soul/life essence fragments either from the dead itself, or still living lifeforms. Their fragments end up deciding their looks, dominant species, and powers. Gestalts have the shared powers of teleportation and an affinity for magic, though ones that ended up lacking magic are not unheard of. The purpose for some Gestalts, if not to live, is determined by the purpose of the creator but they don't always have to follow them. Be wary! Taking the soul out of a living person could cause some side affects depending on the side, like the traits of an incomplete or 'glitched' Gestalt. These affects may include things such as ash gray skin with black, void like cracks, a garbled and jumbled up voice, or even some mutated looking physical features like an extra arm or lack of one, extra eyes, etc.

Summary

Dionnus is a Gestalt originally created some long time ago to be the 'ultimate Gestalt', one that would take rule after the fall of one named Avatroth. Though he grew too powerful for his master and betrayed him. Before he could kill his creator and be unleashed into the world, the creator trapped Dionnus in a young boy's form and applied many, many restrictions to his power. One of these restrictions, the main one, is Weiss. Weiss is Dionnus's other, benevolent half that can gain just as much control of their shared body as Dionnus does. Even when not active, Weiss is able to heavily restrict and stop Dionnus from doing a lot, especially use his powers against others that he knows do not deserve it. This ranges from standard civilians to even the most threatening predator. There are rare times when the restrictions to even the most miniscule of offensive power is released, as Dionnus is a cruel, sadistic boy tyrant.

Physical Description

Dionnus is dressed, even as a child, much like his original form's lord-like attire. His outfit consits of a lot of black, dark gray, and crimson. His hair is short and somewhat spikey in a messy manner, pitch black in color. His eyes are a piercing, bright yellow and his skin is pale. His outfit consists of medieval era dark gray trousers tucked into boots. He wears a noble-esque tunic with robe-like sleeves, a mix of mainly black, grey, and royal purple. Over that he wears a large, decorated black and royal purple cape. A silver chain broach holds the cape together. Under his robe sleeves, he has dark gray and crimson colored gauntlets with minor claw-like tips on the fingers. He carries a European accent that seems to belong back in the dark ages. Usually, in his tone, he speaks like a noble.

Weiss is dressed in similar attire, but with a half cape that reaches down to just below the waist and thinner ends to his sleeves. The attire also consists more of a combination of white, silver, and golden colors. His hair becomes snow white and his eyes a light grey that may convince people to consider him blind. His voice is lighter and more friendly, but with the same accent.

Upon touch, they feel like they are normal flesh. Their bodies being made out of soul fragments is more or less used for creation. They even bleed alongside leaking a misty black substance from any wounds.

Personality

Dionnus is cruel, cold, and manipulative like how is master originally built him. He was meant to be a lord, so he is to act like a ruthless one. He can get upset when anything he plans or sets in motion is disturbed or stopped, and could fly into a rage. Generally, he is level headed and keeps either a regal, neutral expression about himself or a sly grin. He is one to want to get into a person's head and learn what they have to use against them later. At times though, he can be a little unhinged, usually when something makes him truly upset. Though nothing has made him this way for awhile. When unhinged, he jumps from noble to freak faster than Princess Azula. He is a big fan of music though, usually anyt type. His favorite will always be more classical styles of music.

Weiss is entirely benevolent and kind to most types of people. He's the one that will always give someone a couple chances before he fully dismisses them, even Dionnus. He is also somewhat shy until he at least is confronted or able to confront someone, as his main duty is to restrict Dionnus and he never knows what he'll get with certain people. Towards people he knows, he is somewhat protective of, but not to the point where he'll break his own restrictions. His gullibility is his weakness, as he'll usually do most things for anyone. He actually enjoys Dionnus, and is probably the first good person in his life. Dionnus resents him, but he doesn't really do anything to get rid of him.

Abilities

Both Dionnus and Weiss share the same abilities. Their physical prowess is enhanced through passive magic, but nothing too super human. They also contain some minor magical capabilities, like invisble mage hands for telekinesis and such, but their shared, main ability is the power of the Shards. Shards are like magical bits of extremely sharp energy fragments in a crystalized form, almost looking like glass. They have many uses and properties. The lifeform can use them to either make constructs of varying size by collecting them into its shape, make streams of them appear, each shard used to cut when slamming into someone or something. Due to the Shards being somewhat similar to the fragments that make up Dionnus and Weiss's shared body, the power to control these Shards also allows them to give them minor body morphing as well. This is mainly used when Dionnus and Weiss are switching control, allowing them to switch their physical appearance as well. By all means, they are not that weak in physical combat, but it is not their best thing. They'd rather use their powers to deal with something. They will mix their powers into melee combat if it comes to it. Note: The shards do not have to hurt in construct form, they are multipurpose. They are also able to use the Shards to regenerate to an extent. The speed depends on severity of a wound.
