Personality

Dione is generally pleasant and well-spoken in public, socializing with others in a polite manner. She has a few odd mannerisms, but holds her own in conversation, though she may not always be the first person to seek out others to chat with.
In an isolated situation, Dione is quite polite as long as you're more than 10 or so feet away from her. The closer you get though, the more her wording tends to change. She'll try to get you to doubt yourself, to become unsure. Coupled with her alluring scent, it makes people question things and start to look for guidance. And she's almost always ready to divine something for a wayward soul... for weal or for woe~

Abilities and powers

Fortune Telling: Crystal balls, tarot cards, palm readings, things like that. All methods of divining are fair game as long as they don't involve spilling blood or entrails. Capricious and tricky, there usually seems to be a caveat in Dione's predictions. Whether a double meaning or ambiguity in her telling is her own addition or simply part of the process is anyone's guess. But sometimes she'll even tell the truth completely... just to throw people for a loop once in a while.

Ice: Being a unique type-swap, Dione is Ice/Poison rather than Fire/Poison type. As such, she has a very chilly aura about her that she can tend to control and influence. She can freeze water with a touch and a smile, and cause fog or mist to condense around her... Though she can't really do many more powerful effects with it. So no freezing people solid or anything like that.

Pheromones.: A signature trait of Salazzles is their intoxicating pheromones. Dione's breath, as well as the fog and mist around the Ice-lazzle carries an alluring scent. Sometimes it smells sweet, or minty. It makes people vulnerable to suggestion and influence the longer they remain in the tinted air. Those who spend too long in it might start to want to do whatever she might ask of them, no matter how humiliating or perilous, as long as it means they get to be closer to the Ice-lazzle~

Background

Nobody can really recall Dione's past, and she certainly isn't one to tell. When asked, she just laughs and suggests they divine it with the cards. People can, however, remember that her wagon began showing up about 10 years back, filled to the brim with tools of trade. Sometimes at carnivals, shopping plazas, or sometimes even just on the trails through the woods, she sets up shop offering advice and readings for any and all who enter. Generally, people walk away with a sense of purpose or belief in their choices. Those who feel lost and without purpose are invited to stay around for longer, falling under the sway of her pheromones as time goes on until they never wish to leave and Dione is all too happy to give them an option to remain with her forever~ Less frequently, she gets skeptics... who generally humor her process with varying levels of sarcasm before receiving portents of doom. Which are then followed by a cacophony of slurping, gulping and a final belch before she locks up for the next few hours.

Notable Possessions

NeverMeltIce: Her prized possession is a hunk of ice that remains frozen no matter the surrounding temperatures. It can grow from time to time, but Dione usually takes care to keep it in a nice and neat container so that it's stuck as an orb. For serious divinations, she prefers to use this rather than any of her usual crystal ball substitutes.
