Dhyuni

The stories will generally stay the same regardless of where you listen. Some old hag that lives out in the woods by herself, dabbling in the demonic and dark arts and other taboos, and surmised to be a bane of the local society. While there could be many truths to these stories, they are never depicted in an accurate or honest manner.

Dhyuni will make no hesitation to admitting to witchcraft. While neither the greatest nor a novice, the experienced spell caster is not one to be trifled lightly with. She freely admits to communing with the dead and demonic, to causing terrible storms to bristle in the skies above, and performing ritualistic slayings in the endeavors she has secretly laid out for herself.

Does any of this mean she is vile and despicable, of the most inhumane evil that could walk the earth? Nope, not at all. She's rather polite, if a bit impatient. Does it mean she wouldn't turn you into a frog and gut you for a lunch over a fire? Not likely. She freely dabbles and interferes with the mystical arts of her own volition, either for personal gain or to offer minor services to those in need. Many times local villages have been saved by her practices and yet will remain none the wiser to her interference, simply out of her lacking interest to take credit. And so, she is constantly and habitually hounded by children should she enter any of these cities, the rumors and whispers follow her to wherever she treads. Fear, ignorance, and prejudice are synonymous with her profession. And she is entirely fine with that.

Typically carried equipment consists of poisoned wolverine claws formed into a glove for her left hand. A simple sword with a mild frost enchantment of her own conjuring ( Cold damage and exhausts/slows victim ), a couple of staves ( Fire Storm, etc. ), her more preferred bladed weapon of a life-steal dagger, then various charms and material components for spells. Her clothing is hardly ever of anything special, typically hides and bland cloths she recovers by lost caravans or trading with wilderness hunters or the monstrous races of the woods that trust her.
