All accurate terms to describe one Desiree Knight (she prefers Desi though), student at Riverton University. The tall, athletic blonde is happiest in the outdoors adventuring. She enjoys her share of indoor activities too, but even then she favors portable gaming and watching shows on her phone, because why sit at a desk when you can do all those same things outside? Usually the beach if she has her preference, but hiking through forests or hills or mountains is pretty darn good too. Usually clad in varying degrees of cargo pants and tank tops and/or swimwear while she does it. Or anything else.
She's generally got a pretty carefree attitude about life, with a strong adventurous streak and maybe a small tendency to bite off more than she can chew because of it. But that's just life, right? Not like a little excitement every hurt anyone. Or at least, that's how she sees it. Trouble just means an interesting story to tell after the fact and danger just means she's probably going to get a good workout that day.
Of course, carefree or not no one can live their entire life wandering around looking for fun. As mentioned before she's a student at Riverton U and despite the surfer girl stereotyping she's at least a passably decent student. The history major was something she picked almost at random just so her parents would stop hounding her to focus on something, but it's a discipline she's found pretty darn fascinating too. When not at school or the beach she's also got herself a part time job, too for some extra cash.
Oh yeah, she eats people too.
On the setting:
Desiree is designed to be a pretty flexible character. In a high fantasy setting she might be a more traditional adventuerer. In a futuristic one she might be more fascinated with exotic planets and deep space than beaches and mountains. I suppose she could also be played a bit younger as a high schooler instead of a college student too.
By default however she's built for play in a more modern setting. Specifically the city of
Riverton. Magic optional!
