For the better part of her life, Minerva had considered her self to be a normal, everyday human.. Well, as normal as one with her 'condition' could be, anyway. Life is hardly normal after all, for a girl born with a generic disorder that leaves her legs closely resembling that of a horses or goats, and leaving her with a fat; eel bodied like tail.
Minerva lives in a modern, realistic themed setting where the idea of a girl with goat hooves and a tail would be considered quite freakish; and likely to be found in your local tabloid. Much to Minerva's dismay being raised and viewed as such an abomination. In this setting, Humans on mass believe, as they do in our world, that humans themselves are the only intelligent life on the planet (if not the universe); and the concept of demons and angels walking among them is considered quite radical by the general public, save perhaps those amongst the heavily religious sect, who have often viewed Minerva's questionable 'genetic disorder' a little to close to the truth of origin for Minerva's liking.
In short, Minerva's setting is based quite close to the real world in which we live in and while it is obvious by the very fact that she is a half-demon that certain liberties can be taken, it is important to point out that as such certain restraints in terms of characters she might interact with much also be taken. For one, I generally will not have her engage with furs. This isn't because I find furs unappealing in the slightest, but rather because the concept of a anthropomorphic animal person trotting around in our strictly human world without so much as raising an eyebrow is rather ludicrous. There is of coarse exceptions to this. Werewolves for one, are believable enough. As well as perhaps a powerful demon with animal features provided there's some stealth to their existence, or perhaps just the idea of them being shocking for the general public to behold.
Anything that is not human and common place, weather it be in species, look, origin, or powers must have an element of being viewed as something bewildering and likely terrifying to the common public. Thus, must come off as being secretive, mysterious, or simply must be hiding in plain sight. Anything that keeps the believability of the hum-drum modern world in tact.

For the purposes of some concerns you might have with becoming one of Minerva's wives; I should note that I like to keep all Minerva's reactions contained to her own universe. I e, I would rather interacting with her did not become a canon part of you character's storyline. This kind of binding union can be rather detrimental to future interactions your character might have. Likewise, I do not wish to be bogged down or concerned of the feeling of other characters your character might have have relations with.
