When you were young, have you ever woken up in the night from a knock in the closet, or weird scratching under the bed? Rushing to your parents room, only to hear the tired "There is no monster in your room"? Well, if you are still around to read this, you got lucky. Your parents were right that time. But many less fortunate souls have found it to not always be the case. There is a reason, after all, for why we fear whatever is lurking in the dark corners. Davish is the monster you find hiding there, and if she is there, running to your parents is no longer an option. Many missing child posters across the world can attributed to her.

Davish is a shapeshifting boogeywoman, that hunts her prey at night. She eats kids, good and naughty by coming to their rooms through dark corners. She can get anywhere in the world, since really, she doesn't even exist anywhere in the world until she manifests, otherwise inhabiting her own dimension. She tends to be playful with her prey, often teasing them, as fear greatly enhances the flavour. Giving their preys a little hope, only to crush it is often quite fun to her.
Even though she needs darknes to manifest, she is not actually particularly weak to light. You won't see her strolling on the street during the day, but many kids were proved wrong hoping that keeping night light on will shield them.

Abilities:
Shapeshifting. As stated above, she can change form. She most often does it for disguise. You went to the toilet, to hug your favorite teddy bear? Better make sure it's still your teddy bear~ ! Even though she can have any shape she wants, she does however have a typical one, that she got used to. It has been consistently effetive at scaring her prey and was just plain comfortable.

Noise suppression. Scaring your prey pantless to make them tastier has its consequences. Mainly, they tend to scream, which tends to attract parents. And it's just inconsiderate. They have work in the morning after all... So, after she's gotten to you, all the noise you make is her own little private show, never to leave the walls of your room.

Immortality. A monster that's been around through ages, with no set form, other the one she decided for herself, she is immune to aging. She is not invulnerable mind you, althought humans are hardly a threat to ever really harm her.
