Lysithea is the only living daughter of Count Ordelia, and the heiress to house Ordelia of the Leicester Alliance. When Lysithea was but two years of age her family became involved in a rebellion with the imperial house Hyrm; trying to help the later join the alliance. However, the Adrestian empire did not take kindly to this and sent the full brunt of their military might to crush the rebellion. House Hyrm and Ordelia fought valiantly, but they were vastly outnumbered. Their only hope would be Alliance intervention. However, no such reinforcements would come. The Alliance did not wish to risk an all-out war with the empire, and as such the two houses were left to the mercy of the empire. The empire then proceeded to crush the armies of both houses. Wiping the imperial house Hyrm from the map for their treason and occupying the lands of house Ordelia. This occupation was not a kind one. The empire sought to make a puppet state within the Alliance through house Ordelia and began to systematically kill off key members within the house before replacing them with imperial sympathizers. Soon Count and Lady Ordelia were nothing but figureheads within their own lands; the empire had gained full control. Soon imperial troops came and went as the pleased. Among them were the secretive dark mages of the imperial court. These dark mages had come to engage in experiments to implant a second magic crest into a person. However, to do this they needed children who already had a magic crest… Noble children. Count and Lady Ordelia could only watch in horror as their many children were experimented upon. The addition of a second magic crest destroying their bodies from the inside and killing them. Soon only the young Lysithea remained. Yet, maybe through pure force of will, or dumb luck, Lysithea, unlike her siblings, did not perish. Throughout the ordeal her body had managed to accept the second crest. The mages were ecstatic, they had finally done it. Two magic crests in one person. They observed and cataloged Lysethia’s progress and tutored her in magic. In all accounts she was a once in a millennium prodigy. However, there was an issue. The process was not without its side effects. Lysethia’s body had been made frail, and her hair had turned white. It was likely she would not live into her late twenties, much less her thirties. The dark mages grew bored with her and branded the experiment a failure; soon leaving house Ordelia. Suddenly the occupation ended, and the empire withdrew; leaving the once mighty house Ordelia a shell of its former self.

Now Lysithea travels the lands looking for a way to remove her crests and restore her house to its former glory. She is headstrong, intelligent, and driven. Seeking out her goals even at the expense of own health. She has hidden love of cute things and sweets, but hides this from others for fear of being thought as childish. Her journey has now brought her to the strange dimension of the Nexus in search of a cure and riches. To earn money she often rents out magical, or "other" services.

TL;DR: Her noble house was taken over and nearly destroyed. She and her siblings were experimented on as children. Only she survived, and gained immense magical power, but at the cost of a greatly reduced life span and fragile body. She now explores the Nexus, looking for a cure and to gain money to restore her house.
