Marilyn Boss is perhaps best described in a single word; kindly. Despite how brief that may be, it is a word that encapsulates how she carries herself, day in and day out. Mary is unconditionally kind and sweet as can be — after all, her mama told her that it's better to offer people honeyed words than an acrid tongue and dear Mary ain't ever going against that.~

Being a mother of two and a business owner, she spends her days with her hands full, juggling the operations of the Boss family bakery with the growth of her kids. It's a lot, sometimes, but Marilyn is strong enough to pull herself through to the other side — even if it requires going about things with a slightly firmer hand than she's used to. Any way to get through things, she'll take.

All of this manuevering, no matter how much fruit it yields within her own life, doesn't leave her with an abundance of personal time. As such, when that personal time does come, Marilyn usually spends her time kicking back and relaxing, indulging in the flavors of the town in which she resides. She finds herself yearning, occasionally, for a bit more time to herself, but she wouldn't trade the life she's made for anything.

...Coulda fooled a few people with that thought, though. With how Marilyn gives herself to indulging on her time off, often leaving her with a gut (complete with questionable bulges) fitting of a divine feast, one could think that Marilyn wants to dedicate herself more to a sort of Dionysian fervor. She is a cow girl at heart, after all, and bovines need quite a bit to sustain themselves; it only makes sense that she follows in that logic.

Gotta gorge with a careful eye, though, because if she catches the look of the right person...they won't see Marilyn. They won't even see some cow girl that stuffed herself too much on whatever she could get her hands on. All they'll see...

...is a fatty, juicy heifer.~
