Lisa Martin is one of the youngest of the elite forces group she belongs to. That's not really a good thing, though. Her group is comprised entirely of misfits and those considered unsuitable for standard duty. they tend to be lazy, uncooperative, or otherwise ill-suited for standard military duty. Some have mental disorders. Some are just ornery. Some are downright lazy. And then there's Lisa.

Lisa, as with most of the rest of the Misfits(their name for themselves, others call them the Freaks), is a psychic. However, she's got a little bit of a problem that has turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

Lisa has a shattered psyche. She's very poorly put together. However, due to her unusual mental state, her psychic abilities have manifested themselves as the four little kitties you see hanging out with her. She's a catgirl too, by the way, you just can't see her ears or tail. In any case, she was going to be locked away and studied, something she really did not want, when a war broke out. they needed every able-bodied soldier in the field that they could get, and Lisa definitely was able-bodied, even if her mind is a bit loose. Still, she was considered a liability, so she was given a suicide mission. Deep enemy territory, an impossible target, and no support. She'd have to get back on her own, if at all. Still, she was a dutiful soldier, so off she went, hot-dropped about as deep into enemy turf as anyone could be. Her mission?

To asassinate the enemy leader.

Needless to say, this was a daunting task, and would have been even harder, except for one thing: Lisa had help. She didn't know it until the first patrol almost found her, but she had help. And, that night, she met the other pieces of herself, who helped her escape.

Those pieces, from left to right, are all named by her.

Mika, the Sarge, is the green-haired kitty. She's the most serious, thoughtful one among them, and can be downright cold, but she always cares. She's the mother figure of the group, always making sure the others are well(more on that later.)

Emi, the Glutton, is the blue-haired kitty. She's always thinking about food, but never seems to eat it herself. She's always got an eye out for anything useful, often spotting things even Lisa doesn't. She's a bit clutzy, and shy, but quite fun, and a bit of a prankster.

Lili, the Morale Officer, is the pink-haired one. She's always cheerful, and happy! Unless they're all feeling sad, in which case she gets bummed out too. None of them like seeing Lili unhappy, though, so try to cheer her up, and often cheer up themselves in the process. Lili is who you're most likely to meet aside from Mika.

And, lastly, Kate. Kate is, of course, the purple-haired kitty. She's the crew chief, supposedly. She makes sure everything is working the way it should. Seeing as it generally doesn't NOT work, she mostly sleeps. Its all good, though, she's nice and cuddly. She's practically a living teddy bear!

Which brings me to my next point. The kittygirls? They are, indeed, alive. They are their own beings, but they're part of Lisa. Lisa is generally a mix of those four, or something else, but they're not really affected by her. They are immortal as long as Lisa is alive, but not indestructible. As in, they just reform sooner or later. They ARE tangible, and feel like flesh and blood critters, but only when they choose to be. More often than not only Lisa can see and interact with them.

Still. They're real enough to know where other people are. They're the ones who found her a safe way to a sniper location, from which she took out the general. they're also the ones who led her safely way after.

Not that anyone else knew it. however, when the enemy became suddenly demoralized, her old friends knew who it was. So did those who sent her out to die. So it was that three months later, when she finally hiked out of there, that she was met by a huge crowd! the cheers stunned her, and she just stood there... and then some unseen sniper shot her down.

She woke up several months later, in a hospital, owned by a new country. The government she worked so hard to protect had been overthrown by the people. And she was a hero.

So she's on vacation! Albeit, with her stuff.
