Cora was grown from a strange seed that was found washed up on the South Coast of England. The seed was the size of an average orange, and when it was cleaned, planted and watered, began to grow faster than anything they had ever seen before. They looked far and wide for an explanation of the seeds origins, however nothing could be found. Experts were flown in from around the world, and even they hadn't got a clue. They tested the plants DNA and cross-referenced it against everything that had ever been discovered. Again they couldn't fathom its origins, deducting that it must be an ancient species of plant, long since extinct. Or an alien species, from another world altogether.

Strangely enough alien species of plants were getting more common with the increase of alien life visiting the Earth, and it always excited the horticultural community to no end. However Cora was from Earth, and had simply been trapped as a seed inside a cave for millions of years, until a cave-in caused her seed to be washed out into the ocean. Eventually to be found in England 40 years later.

After a year of growth, some of the gardeners and scientists would hear a voice, when near Cora, immediately they believed the plant to be producing airborne hallucinogens, cordoned off the area and checked for anything dangerous. Nothing was found and so they carried on taking care of her, however they kept testing for the source of this voice. A few months later, in the early hours of the morning, her carer, came in to see the plant moving slowly towards the morning sunlight. “Help! Want, go, outside” the carer, having nurtured Cora for so long, was a little freaked out by this request, however obliged her request, telling everyone at Kew gardens to come and see what was happening. A few brought recording equipment, to capture the moment, and they were very glad they did.

Once outside, with everyone gathered around her, the large pot she was in began to crack, and quickly exploded, roots shooting out and into the ground. Her growth began to be noticeable to the naked eye, vines and roots forming into a mass slowly forming what might be considered a body, then arms sprouted from her sides, and legs grew below her. The body was female in shape, elegant like a flower, and curvaceous like a Mother. The seed that she had grown from moved up her body, and formed a head on her shoulders. Vines, leaves and petals forming her features around the core (the seed). However she was still infantile, her body undeveloped, just shapely.

All around her the gardeners, botanists, scientists and members of the public, stood there mouths wide open, gob smacked, unable to believe their own eyes. Cora giggled a little at the looks on the faces of so many humans, “Hello?” she said, a little nervous, this was the first time she'd talked to anyone physically, before it was through telepathy. She didn't want to hurt them, and didn't want them to hurt her either. “Who are you? What's your name?” asked her carer. “I do not know, I do not have a name” replied Cora, “What if you name me? You've been with me the longest, you're the closest thing I have to a mother” she said looking around her at the bewildered people.

“Cora, I name you Cora” said her carer.

Even though Cora could speak well, she was still a child, a very young child. Nevertheless, she was still an unknown sentient species, and would need to be monitored closely as she grew. Her carer looked after her, took her in as her own child and raised like a human child. She was home schooled for obvious reasons, and seemed to develop at the same rate a human female would. Puberty was a little different though, and just like a plant she was an hermaphrodite, having both male and female organs. This of course made things more difficult, but it was manageable, and it was rather humorous when she would hump trees in the gardens. Since she was a plant, she didn't have to where clothes, the laws not applying to her, since nothing was ever on show, unless horny of course.

When she became eighteen, her development had slowed, but her body was quite amazing, wide hips, long legs, round ass and double D breasts that bounced hypnotically. Her body screamed elegance and fertility. By this point her ability to change shape had become second nature to her, the vines and roots that made up her body, allowed her to change into any shape. An animal if she wanted, or maybe disguise herself as a tree or plant. She also enjoyed drinking water with food colouring mixed in, allowing her to store the pigments in her body, to make her look different colours, and even blush.

At eighteen she was granted citizenship, and was allowed all the rights of any sentient life form, letting her leave the gardens and explore the world. She quickly found Nexus Park, and fit in very well with the local population. She soon found out that her Core was indigestible like most seeds, and she could quickly grow back from the seed once placed in fresh water. However if not placed in water to grow, her core seed can be kept dry, and allows her to be brought back to life at the keepers whim. She can still communicate through telepathy when in seed form, and can be kept this way indefinitely. She's also very nutritious, only needing water to live, sunlight giving her energy like any other plant. Her blood is actually an amber sap, which can be easily coloured through the water she ingests. If the water is dyed red, it will look like thick sappy blood, etc etc. Very tasty too, sweet and a little tangy.
