She is known as Shou Toramaru's mouse familiar, but she is in fact a high-ranking youkai dispatched by Bishamonten himself. Her job is to support and monitor Shou.

Her specialty is dowsing, a type of divination used to locate groundwater. She mainly utilizes this ability to locate treasures, however. There are various ways to dowse. Some use dowsing rods, or a dowsing pendulum. She uses wild mice for the task. Because they live everywhere underground and in small places, she can pinpoint what she's looking for by listening to what they say.

In stark contrast to her tiny figure, she has a large ego. This is because she has Bishamonten backing her up, but she herself is actually quite timid. She will run away as soon as she's frightened.
