Ever since he could remember, he's been alone. He has no memory of his parents, nor anything before he was 5 years old, which was when he was torn from his world and thrust into the Nexus.
Being that he had forgotten everything, save his name and how to speak, he had no idea what anything around him was, and could do nothing but explore the area around him, which ended up leaving him lost in the forest.
It was during this time, lost in the forest, that he forest encountered vore, watching as a Naga swallowed a human whole, though he luckily wasn't seen as the Naga had left after his meal.
After witnessing this, he became terrified that he was going to be eaten by just about anything he met, and he believed that for the next two years, staying away from anything living, and living by stealing food and eating berries from the forest, which he now considers his home, and a place of safety, as he hasn't been attack there, but has been in villages and towns.
However, despite all of this, he's a sweet and gentle boy, never willing to harm anything, even in self defense, meaning that if a predator gets ahold of him, he wont use violence, though that doesn't mean he would struggle and cry.
