Due to an event he cannot remember Claudius found himself awaking in the middle of a blizzard. All he had was his fighting style and his wits to get him through this, but the snow was too harsh on him, and before he knew it, he was face down in the snow once more, and he simply thought he was going to freeze her and never be found again.

But he awoke once more, except this time he was in a palace, a place he did not recognize here. But the first thing he noticed is was he around others of his kind, other vampires. It seemed he had arrived in a kingdom hidden by the human eye. The vampires who lived here seemed to know who he was; at least they knew who his clan was.

Apparently the Shades use to be a dominant force in the underworld. But as the world became its current state they broke up. Majority of them heading off to start an academy that would help ease demons into the human realm, where they could all blend together. But he would later learn another family member like him. One who held a castle deep in the mountains, and she hated the humans and would kill any that she came across.

But Claudius would remain here in this kingdom, he was a powerful asset and for the most part he had bodyguards where ever he went. This was because the family that found Claudius did not want him getting lost, having a Shade on their side would give them power throughout the underworld.

Though Claudius lives his days out there he is happy, though one day he plans to go out and venture on his own, hoping to find the rest of his family, and maybe once more bring the Shade clan back into this century.

Claudius found himself wandering the snowy mountains one night, not knowing where he was or what was going on. But he needed to find shelter, somewhere he could be safe before this storm overcame and he would drop dead. He came across a home in the middle of the mountains and before be knew it, he knocked on the door and passes out right then and there. Minoo and her servants were kind enough to take him in and watch over him. When Claudius awoke he found himself surrounded by the servants and Minoo would soon tell him that she saved him. Claudius would then now his head to her, recognizing Minoo as his Princess and his mistress, and this was all before her was even branded. As time went on and once Minoo finally received another charge for her branding iron she would enslave Claudius. And now he had to follow her no matter what. But he didn't mind. It actually seemed he was falling for the Princess. The more time he spent with her. The happier he seemed to be.

Personality

Claudius is very calm and collective when he speaks. He rarely gets angry and for the most part never shows his fangs. When he does fight he simply uses his brute strength and his speed to battle an opponent.

He tries to outwit his enemies using logic for the most part. Though he is strong he would prefer to use is brains over his fist any day. Outside of battle he can very pleasant to talk too. He loves meeting new people and getting to know others and to learn anything he can about them.
