Fan character from the Final Fantasy XIII series
Let it be noted the way I am making Lightning is my own spin on her. She won't be an exact replica from the game. Her personality will remain in tact, but her back story and setting will be changed! If you are not a fan of this I do apologize.

Soldier, Friend, Sister
Claire Farron once went by the name Lightning and to some she still does, but to her close friends, and to her family she has long forgotten that name. Claire use to spend countless days in the field of battle and even found herself losing precious time actually lost in the streams of time. She use to reign over Valhalla as the Goddess's servant and it was her job to make sure everything stayed pure in the land and to make sure nothing would tear at the delicate fibers that time was. But this had all ended. Be it in some different future or some parallel world, for the most part Lighting has put her blade up for the time and now takes on a more relaxing life style, until she is pulled into battle again.
Though she didn't leave her entire life behind just like that. Though her family and friends would rather see her relax after the journey she has been on she can't just simply give it up. Some nights she roams the streets to look for any trouble she can find, any person she can help, or any puzzle she can solve. Though in this new world she had created crime was something of a rarity and you had to know where to find it. When Claire can't find the thrill of battle she is looking for she turns to the gates of time. With a simple whisk of her finger she can open up the gate and fling herself into vast and different worlds. It is here when she explores and once more takes on the name Lightning once more.
When she isn't out trying to save the world she tends to stay at her home and lounge about. A good lazy day to her is when nothing gets done at all. The heart of iron she had crafted to keep others out has long melted along those she holds dear and she would do anything to keep them safe and to spend time with them. It is something she never takes for granted and thanks her lucky stars everyday that they all remain safe.
Then & Now
In the times of when she was that of a soldier her personality was rather cold and brash. She had no time for weaklings and was quick to leave someone behind if they could not keep up with her. She would rather tackle a mission alone then with a group. She always thought more people meant more complications. As time went on this thought process of hers began to change. She found the strength with working in numbers and soon she even began to care for her comrades and started to play the part of a mentor or a big sister.
When she goes out now to try and solve issues around the world she takes more of a solo approach, but not for the same reason. She does it simply because she doesn't want to worry her friends. Of course if one of them was to offer her help and to go with her she would turn them down. Around the house she is rather caring and sweet, sometimes she can still be a bit rude but it's more playful than anything. Her remarks can be seen more as teasing now then jabs at someone's ego. She still maintains that
big sister mentality, she is always looking out for others and can be rather protective.
At home she prefers to go by Claire, in battle she prefers to be called Lightning. To her those two people are almost separate now. Lightning was the strong warrior that never backed down from any challenge, and Claire is the kind hearted woman who simply wants to have fun with others. Even with this new peace Claire can not forget her past, she can not forget what use to make her, her. And that is Lightning and the very same reason she will not let her past die. In her heart she feels it's her duty to protect all those around her and still remain strong. But of course even she likes to slack every once in awhile.

Of course being who she is....well she is has an array of abilities at her finger tips. Here is a quick run down!

I like anything from silly to serious. I don't mind playing something light hearted or something with a very heavy story.
As stated I am a fan of micro/macro, so don't be surprised if Lightning shrinks you down just to simply tease you a bit.
