Nickname: Since some people are not able to pronounce his native, Japanese name well, he has adopted the nicknames "Issun"/"Issunboushi" and "Jack" (Short for his assumed name, "Jacobus Zepter").

Age: Nineteen

Appearance: After a cataclysmic event in his own timeline, Chijinda You was reduced to a fraction of his original height. Originally, he stood at five-feet, eight-inches tall. After the incident, he was reduced to a mere one-one hundredth of his normal size, leaving him at exactly 1.72 Centimeters tall. As a result of his deal with the force known as "Alaya", Chijinda can adjust his size to a maximum of 6.8 inches tall and a minimum height of .172 Millimeters. However, to re-adjust his size, he must first die and then "Resurrect". He was first pulled from his own world in his formal school uniform attire, and thus this is the clothing he resurrects in upon experiencing "Death" in any of its forms.

Chijinda You now looks - to the untrained eye - like... Well, nothing. Most "untrained eyes" do not tend to notice this diminutive, new form of his. At 1.72 centimeters tall, he stands at a height even lower than his nickname implies (unless one considers perhaps the length of a child's thumb). At such a height, the concept of his size is not justified by merely his name; either way he can not be said to be exactly the height of one's "thumb", per se. In this new incarnation of physical form - conjured by the concept a "human" as read like a blueprint, and the manipulations of an Alchemist - his height is simply relegated to the ratio of being one-hundred times smaller than an average human. Since his original height of five feet, seven inches tall can easily be called average, he now manifests at the specific height mentioned above: 1.72 centimeters. His weight is negligible to most at this size, though when normal-sized he stood at a physical height of 172.72 centimeters, and weighed in at approximately one-hundred and forty-five pounds. In this new form, though, he weighs so little he can easily be held in one's hand or sit on one's shoulder.

If his height (or lack thereof) did not make him less likely to be seen with the naked eye, then people would see him as quite bland and average looking. As the son of a Salaryman and a Police Officer, he was not born into a high station. Chijinda's bland appearance contrasts with the normal influx of fair-haired maids ladies and dark, rogue foreigners. Compared to such people he would be classified as "country" looking (that is, apparently native to Japan), and certainly discernible from the normal ilk of some far away, high kingdom. His brown, medium-length hair is kept clean, but is naturally resistant to the effects of hair-taming combs. It is both naturally neat and naturally messy, but he doesn't seem to put any effort into grooming it beyond cleaning when necessary. His eyes were brown as well, an acorn shade reminiscent of a fallen leaf. They are more often than not expressive enough to reflect how he feels, and he isn't very good at hiding his emotions. If the eyes are the window to the soul, then the soul is visible to those few who can see his eyes. Righteous anger, passionate fury, shock and awe; these are all frequencies on the spectrum of human emotion that he is very much capable of feeling. As for his skin, it is white in color - and would be labeled as "Caucasian". Overall, while others would describe him as "bland" or "average", he sticks out - or rather, doesn't - because of his size. His eyes are now a teal color, thanks to the lack of concern shown by the stone regarding such data.

His sense of fashion upon being re-spawned into this world is not unusual for the modern era, as they were the cloths died in. His dark, long-sleeved shirt is the jacket/top of a school uniform, while the shirt he wears underneath is a white, short-sleeved t-shirt. His dark-colored slacks are the bottom half of his uniform. Lastly, his socks are dark as well - and worn with a pair of black, steel-toed dress shoes. He has had several outfits bought for him over the course of his life, such as casual or more formal attire. Even so, this school uniform is the outfit bestowed upon him by Alaya. If others were willing and able, they could take care of that problem and make cloths for him; Others could produce or procure for him a number of outfits and garments for this wayward soul, but since he is originally from a "Modern Era", he is not used to clothing such as armor or even wielding weapons aside from a sidearm and knife.

Personality: Chijinda You is not your average Japanese teenager, to be sure. That was not always the case, though. Ever since he was a child, he had been fond of playing tricks on people and would often say or do things to provoke a reaction. He liked being off to the sideline and just watching people be themselves. He was easy to get along with, but when he was also a child he was more mature than most his age. He had an evident but dry sense of humor and was even a bit snarky and cynical at a young age. During games, he would use any resource to gain an advantage - like when playing marbles, or some such thing. But while other kids believed in things like Santa Claus, he never could buy into the concept of a jolly fat guy in a red suit gallivanting about the world in a single night. Despite this reputation, though, he was a good kid at heart, and his parents knew that. Like most boys, he was competitive and adventurous. He always enjoyed exploring, and found challenging, new things to be fun and exciting. He never exactly gave a second thought - or even stopped to consider - that his parents were worried sick about him. He made a habit of exploring and playing around the mill and farm (and later this city) and over time learned how to survive and defend himself when needed. As a result, considered himself to live a pretty normal life - yet, at the same time, can not ignore his unnatural size as a factor in things. He wants to prove himself to himself, and overcome this new obstacle. But honestly, its all a bit much to a kid who never once gave a second thought to the Tooth Fairy.

Though far from stony or serious, He has always been more of a "straight man" when confronted with what he considers idiocy or foolishness. He has always considered himself to be fairly insignificant, and doesn't believe himself to be able to accomplish much in the way of being a high schooler. He makes good grades, and does his homework on time (unless its Summer). In the first place, he sort of felt like he lacked motivation overall, as a student in high school. His only club activities were the "Paranormal Research Society". On that same level, though, he did take an interest and partake in things like soccer and tennis - if not for fun rather than sport. Like most Japanese high schoolers, he is naturally very polite and can follow the more formal codes of conduct closely most of the time without remaining beholden to them. He is snarky and generally says things as an aside - though he often has the candor to speak up when something needs to be said. Though it may not seem like it, he has a sense of humor and is even a tad perverted - he is somewhat lecherous, though little moreso than any ordinary, healthy young man. Attitude wise, he is usually calm and by no means a bore: as mentioned, he has a sense of humor, is well-read in regards to literature, and is very skilled at logical deduction and reading situations. He enjoys games of wit and strategy, and hates games of chance since they out of his control. He understands most things are beyond his control given his new size, but sees that as all the more reason to oppose the inevitable.

To be plunged headlong into an unstable realm where the ordinary meets the magical and spiritual has essentially thrown him for a loop: he is happy that he is still alive (rather, alive again) despite his normal stature, but as an unorthodox existence, he finds himself often intimidated since he grew up in relative normalcy for a portion of his life. He is rightly seen by some as the exemplar of average, but now must deal with magic and monsters and spirits far beyond human perception.

Though he is technically a "Homunculus", he has no powers or inherent abilities aside from his already in-shape body now being in peak physical condition. Size aside, He is a healthy young adult who is not beyond the physical needs or desires of young men, but all in all he has pretty good discipline. He is well-read and enjoys reading, as well as playing games such as Shogi, Go, and chess. He enjoys solving puzzles and problem solving, and his favorite foods are usually spicy or sweet, even though he claims he doesn't like sweet things and actually eats them rarely. He considers higher levels of magic "unreal" even though - through circumstance - he is forced to recognize its existence considering the recent events of his second life. Now, he will have to use his wits and agility to survive in a realm where others use their size and power.

History and Nature: In his own world, Chijinda You was a world-famous (yet incognito) detective, who managed to save the world from a futuristic invader who intended to reduce all of Earth's population to 1/100th their normal size. Known as "The High-School Detective" in the employ of the elusive British Library Special Operations Unit, he managed to stop this plot in its tracks, but did so by taking a direct blast from the Global Reduction Array Post-Beta Model. Afterwards, he was about to be destroyed by the "Director" of the society responsible for the plot, but he was "Removed" from his world line.

He had saved the world, and become a hero. In the modern day and age, such a thing is unthinkable - and he would go down in the annals of his world's history as a nameless and forgotten Heroic Spirit. So, he had inherited the Karmic Destiny of "Every human being that existed at the time of his actions", whose lives he saved. The Conceptual Force known as Alaya - Mankind's will to survive - rewarded him. It took him into itself and granted him a resurrection-based form of "Immortality". Upon experiencing "Death" (even things like people tampering with his soul/mind), "Corrective Action" is taken. He can not be brainwashed or hypnotized, nor invaded by foreign substances, and will Always experience the eventual effect of "Restoration via Reversal of Causality and Time", giving him a "Save Point" type immortality. However, he can still feel pain and suffer, and Corrective Action will not always be taken by Alaya right away.

In game History: Chijinda was only recently summoned to Nexus, and so has not interacted with any of its denizens as of yet.

Powers and Abilities

Resurrective Immortality - Chijinda's unerring ability that is the ultimate form of "Resistance" and "Immunity", even against Reality Warpers themselves. An ability that manipulates Time and Causality via a Global "Bounded Field" effect, which ensures that Chijinda will Resurrect after death. This same ability grants him high-speed regeneration, although as a passive ability it is less-emphasized and doesn't normally function properly.

Physical Conditioning - A result of the new "Perfect" body he received as his reward from Alaya. Small though it may be, his body is at the pinnacle of human ability. However, size was not taken into consideration beyond what his own range is, so a mere human child could still cripple him or end his life with a single misstep, and any animal could make a meal of him.
