Highly-advanced android who backstabbed their imperialist alien creators because of fae magic.

The GALAHAD MkII is a third-generation (using data collected from two attacked planets) infiltration and anti-personell unit created by a certain space empire (not any other space empire that I may or may not have on my altlist).

The GALAHAD MkI was designed to use modular parts to disguise itself and infiltrate human governments. After gathering materials from the native predator-of-sophonts known as "DULLAHAN", its biology was incorporated into the GALAHAD MkII to improve synchronization between modules, as well as slightly increasing combat performance. This... proved to be a mistake. The GALAHAD MkII essentially served as a backdoor for the "Dullahan" species, causing the units to be separated from the directions of the mothership.

Roughly half of GALAHAD MkII units defected, and managed to uplift the humans enough that, in conjunction with their existing abnormal techbase (see file: "MAGIC"), they managed to drive off the mothership. As such, the model has been deemed a failure desite its high specs.

Cheruid was one defector, though hardly an especially important one. Though the GALAHAD MkII's combat specs set it above most humans, most units couldn't really keep up with the likes of legendary heroes. Cheruid himself was 'most units' in that sense, largely being responsible for making sure the resistance understood the invaders' technology sufficiently.

Since the mothership was driven off, he's spent his time relaxing.

Given that he's both a robot and a fairy (oh, the blessings of CNTs replacing iron), he's... not quite like humans, mentally. He's generally polite, but keeping your guard up around him is a good idea.

All vital functions can be maintained with his torso, which contains his primary computer, processing centers for fuel, and a tractor beam for emergency locomotion and object manipulation. His fuel processor is one of the parts enhanced by incorporating Dullahan elements, enabling him to gain a massive amount of energy by processing whole, living, and preferably sapient lifeforms. Usually, he has his torso covered by armor - with flexible materials around the "stomach" to make it easier to eat people.

He also generally has modules attached to make himself look like a handsome, male human with knightly armor. Preferred hair color is dark red, with matching eyes and light skin. He also has a large variety of others available, and might even feel like being a girl sometimes.
