Past

Chase was born in a large town that was run and populated with only demons, there were a lot of races of demons that lived there and the most powerful demon from each race was put in charge of the town. That was all for once race and that was Chase’s because they were the weakest race relying on their powers and magic due to fool and trick others, his race didn’t have the power other demons did have. Chase was raised by his mother as he never got the chance to meet his real father. His dad was human and in the town humans were not allowed so he would be killed and so would Chase and his mother. When Chase was young his mother knew he was different, he was not as aggressive as the other demons his age and would not have any demon features except for his red eyes. He also would have a pair of bunny ears on his head which all of the other demons made fun of making him embrassed of them. She knew he would have a tough time growing up because of his appearance, instead of being tough on him like how she was raised. This made Chase have a very close bond and strong relationship with his mother because of the way she raised him.

When he was old enough to learn his powers the young demon found controlling and using them to be quite easy. He would be the first demon of his age to learn his magic and almost master them within a short period of time. Being good with his powers didn’t make growing up easier, he still looked different than everyone and would constantly get picked on for this. He was left to be quite a loner. While he was good with his powers he could avoid a majority of others wanting to hurt him or humiliate him he couldn’t avoid them all. He didn’t mind being alone since he didn’t fit in with the other demons as power was always on their mind. He wasn’t like that as he enjoyed using his powers to tease and fool others. Whenever he had a bad day he could always run home to his mother to make him feel better and cared for his wounds. She pushed him to finish school and taught him tricks to avoid others. Her encouragement would motivate him to finish school, she also taught him a couple of tricks to surprise others with if they wanted to pick on him allowing him to come out on top.

Chase’s race of demons were tired of the way they were treated and hatched a plan to take over the town. The race came very close to taking over the town. Their powers to look like anyone and turn invisible proved to be more powerful than expected. They would be stopped as the other demons put out a target on anyone of Chase’s race to be hunted and killed. Chase and his mother did not participate in this plan but heard about the genocide on their race and would try to escape the town. When trying to escape they were seen trying to flee the town lurking down a street they were surrounded by several demons who were there to take both of them out. Luckily enough his mother was quick enough to use a clone of them and sneak past the demons. When escaping she was hit by one of the demon's spells causing her to bleed a lot. When they were in a safe spot she told Chase to go to a certain location outside of the town and she would meet up with him. They argued for a bit but she forced him to do this giving him money and some supplies. Chase escaped the town and waited for his mother at the location. He waited for three days in the location waiting for her but she never came. Having very little food and water to live off of and knew he needed to explore and roam to survive. He took one look back at the town and left to never return back.
