A village being protected by a centaur? Unlikely, yes, but such is the case with Poppy. She was given the name because she was found at the root of a poppy, abandoned and cold. The humans took her in as one of their own, and she shows her gratitude by being a protector and a hunter, if a rather meek one. She is easily embarrassed, and is not used to attention all that much. Her first reaction tends to be nervously laughing and trying to change subjects away from the horse in the room. She can be fierce, though that side is rarely seen by others, as she only becomes like this when fighting horrendous beasts. Otherwise she is a sweet farmgirl who loves to meet new people and listen to their stories and worries.

Of course being a centaur has its downsides. For one, she can eat A LOT. More than her human figure would suggest, since most of the food is going to her horsehalfs growth. Her human stomach deals with the digesting, but if she feels like showing care to someone...also known as "gobbling them up" in laymans terms, she sends them to her much slimier horsestomach, which she doesn't use to digest anything really. She does 99% of the time let out her living meals though, out of the usual route or the entry route.
