Celest is born in a small family in a world where Vore is legal. In this world, every citizen can subscribe for reformation in case they would be devoured. However if you become a criminal, you can lose your right to be reformed. Of course not everyone can or want to subscribe for reformation as it is pretty expensive.

Celest is a young girl that always loved her freedom and discovering new things. While her parents wanted her to learn accounting or law so she would never run out of money, she prefered to take courses in photography. As her parents refused, she decided to run from her home as a child. Afraid that she would be hurt or worse, her parents tried to search for her but got attacked by predators. Even if they both subscribed for reformation, they really got scared and panicked as Celest finally came up with some friends of her, managing to catch the predators attention long enough for her parents to escape.

After this incident, Celest's parents accepted to let her decide her life. After all, she was clearly able to take care of herself. They accepted for her to take photography courses, but in order to buy her supplies she had to earn money for herself. For that reason she often take small jobs. With that money, she managed to buy her indestructible camera, along with a pair of indestructible glasses, since Celest was pretty much blind without those. And now she is taking courses... when they are interesting. She sometimes escape the classroom in order to get out and take some pictures of nature. She hope that one day she'll be able to be paid for her pictures.
