Character

Celes is an explorer. She has spent the last 124 years of her life traveling the world and seeing what there is in every corner. She has tried to go to every single spot in the world, and that includes even the most inhospitable spots and the very bottom of the oceans. She has gained a large amount of geographical, cultural and language knowledge as a result of these travels. She also has a large amount of biological knowledge, though this is more specialized due to her experiences.

Celes is an immortal being. She is unable to die no matter what happens to her. She likes to exploit this ability whenever possible for her amusement, having taken part in deadly circuses, shows and other events during her travels. Among her travels in the wild, her immortality has also led to her being prey to a varying amount of wild animals. All this experience has given her a large Masochistic streak as a result, along with a very large tolerance of pain. She is also known to talk about morbid matters on a casual basis

However, while she enjoys being in pain herself, she does not like seeing others in pain. She is generally honest and gentle when it comes to other people and isn't shy to admit her immortality to people on a casual basis. While she doesn't like seeing others in pain, she isn't a pacifist. She will fight if she feels the need to, usually to try and defend her friends from an aggressor. In the case of somebody she sees as cruel and evil she will show no mercy or no remorse for.

History

Celes was born into a cursed family. Both her parents were cursed to eternal life until an emerald that was in their possession was returned to the rightful owner. By the time Celes was born though, the emerald had been stolen from her family. She eventually learned that the emerald was stolen by her own brother, Milo_Gourde, who had gone off against his family's wishes to try and break the curse.

When she was 19 years old, Celes set off on her own journey. Her goal was to see the world, every inch of it. She figured that since she was an immortal, she would have all the time she needed to see every aspect of the world. She never stowed away in any planes or boats to get from one land mass to another, she either swam across the water or walked on the ocean floor to explore it.

Celes has been a part of many major shows in the past, normally the more dangerous shows. For a period of time she gained a bit of a reputation in one particular underground circus where people were challenged to kill her in some manner, yet nobody succeeded. However she soon became angered at the circus since, while she enjoyed being in pain, she didn't like seeing the others around her in similar pain. This led to her leading a revolt against the circus. This revolt eventually led to the death of the circus owner.

After the successful revolt against the cruel circus owner Celes was able to continue with her world travels. One of the goals she has set in her travels is to find her brother. While she doesn't wish to pull him back home, she does wish to confront her brother about what he did and decide from there what she should do about the curse afflicting her and her family.

Celes can never die no matter what happens to her.

Her body will automatically regenerate somewhere if it is destroyed, even if it is total atomic destruction

She can remain conscious right up until her entire body is destroyed

She cannot be transformed into another form by outside means

Her lungs shut down if she is unable to breathe but she remains conscious and they re-activate as soon as she can breathe again

If she is ever made pregnant by a mating, the father of the union is afflicted by the curse she is afflicted with, as is the child.
