What is and isn't a Quetzalcoatl.
A Quetzalcoatl is from the indigenous rainforests of South America, generally Brazil or south, though can be born anywhere rainforests exist naturally.
A Quetzalcoatl isn't- a hybrid of a harpy/Tengu/Avian race and a Lamia/Naga/Gorgon/Ophidian race. They are their own species and have been for thousands of years.
A Quetzalcoatl commonly have amazingly bright colors for hair, scales and the like, showing they are quite venomous, despite being omnivorous and actually more inclined to eat fruits before hunting down animals.
A Quetzalcoatl ISN'T a goddess, a being of insane magical powers, or responsible for the creation of all life. Humans exaggerate.
A Quetzalcoatl is warm blooded and lays eggs. This defies most ophidian demi beings, as they either are cold blooded egg layers, or warm blooded live birth.
A Quetzalcoatl isn't capable of flight....sadly. They just can't, Even with all those feathers, they are only for show.
A Quetzalcoatl's hands are covered in feathers, as seen above, though they do have hands hidden in all those feathers. This is done to protect them while hunting for their favorite meat, piranha.
A Quetzalcoatl isn't a voracious being by nature. In fact, their digestion does not allow them to eat large quantities, as it takes them days, even weeks to properly digest such a meal.

Cavillaca as a Quetzalcoatl
Cavillaca isn't an uncommon girl of her species. She's pretty average size, and average with her colorings. She does keep her hair a bit longer then the norm, as most don't like the way their hair snags on branches while moving up and along the treeline, but she no longer has to worry about such things.
She has a very sunny disposition and is cheerful as well, mostly wanting to be helpful whenever she can. That actually was what made her special in the eyes of the political assemblies. She was a beautiful, captivating being that fully represented how diverse monsterous beings could be in the rainforests compared to other lands, and along with the sentient and mild nature of their race, she was especially willing to talk with the delegates of the world assembly on the conditions of her former home.
Yes, Former.
She now lives in one of the larger cities as a delegate of 'near equatorial' nations, trying to do her best to have them and the millions of species of flora and fauna protected. She...tolerates it. Her house is literally covered with various rainforest plants along with humidifers and heaters to keep her from getting -too- cold...but she still has to go out, and the city is north...in a town where there -is- seasons.
Winter was amazing to her the first time. Now...its almost painful, even if she has a heavy advantage with her downy feathers than most ophidian species.
She also has trouble going out because of her unique appearance. Even though Lamia and Naga are commonplace in the city, her downy feathers and bright colors especially make her stick out like a sore thumb. That and if she is going by eating some sort of fruit, that tends to turn heads as well.
