Backstory:
Or... not. Most of Cass' misadventures in her hometown ended with her getting hauled off to jail by the guard, often before she'd even managed to successfully steal anything.
Living as an orphan in a village of normal humans, her penchant for petty theft was tolerantly regarded as a racial quirk by the mostly good-natured townsfolk, and she was allowed to stay, considered a harmless nuisance.
Eventually, though, the catgirl grew too bold, planning to steal the mayor's own jewelry collection! She was, predictably, caught and panicked, gobbling up the mayor's wife to escape, managing to abscond with the jewels and a full stomach!
There would be no leniency for this crime, however, and Cass was forced to flee, hoping to make her fortune elsewhere!

Cassandra is a rogue, although a somewhat cocky and inexperienced one. She'd definitely fit most anywhere there are valuables to be stolen! Even other sort of contract work is a possibility, if she'll be paid well...

Larae found herself sliding through the thief's guts, every single one of her shinies stolen!
Faetha tried to trick the thief, only to get herself stolen onto Cass' curves, her soul temporarily sealed in a magic gem!
Sadayo_Kawakami attempted to put a stop to thievery, but sadly only put a stop to the catgirl fitting in her outfit!
