Cashandra

Height: 5'6

Two ground rules: You need to be able to type at least reasonably well or have a good excuse for not being able to do so (being on a tablet or similar doesn't count) and you at least need to look at my sliders. If you're okay with those two rules, then feel free to approach!

Though this is an original character based on the game Aion, I'll be more than willing to do cross-overs or work her into other settings as well.

Current mood: Definitely leaning towards female partners right now. I won't outright reject males, but you'll need to convince me with a neat scene idea. Also leaning a bit towards prey, but can still be pred.

Description

Cashandra is one if the immortal Daevas of Asmodae. As typical for an immortal, she and the other Daevas are gifted with the ability to live forever. Cashandra was born a few decades after the Cataclysm shattered Atreia and is now a few centuries old. She ascended at the age of twenty-six, so her appearance is locked to that age. With her long life, she's become quite a wise and intelligent individual. Also powerful, not to mention. Fortunately, despite the rough and tumble of Asmodian society, she is a kind and caring soul and therefore walks a more altrusitic path. She'll go out of her way to help her people in whatever way she can (though she won't allow herself to be taken advantage of). She is also fiercely loyal to Asmodae so, while she detests combat, she is more than willing to wade into battle to protect her homeland from the Elyos and the Balaur.

Though she is an older being, Cashandra still maintains a variety of simple hobbies and interests. For example, she loves to cook and, consequently, she is a very skilled chef and has been recognized as an expert by Pandemonium. She also greatly enjoys the cold, which is a good thing considering the low temperatures of most regions of Asmodae, but still enjoys warmer places such as beaches as well. Most importantly, however, Cashandra loves to try and experience either new things or things she has not done in a long time. While originally it was just something she started to do to keep her from growing stagnant in her interests, her enjoyment of new experiences has grown from just trying new hobbies to encompass other aspects of her life, such as dating. As a result, she has developed into a very open-minded individual and, most of the time, will not get freaked out over even the strangest interests.

Powers and Abilities

If you are familiar with Aion, all I simply need to say is she's a level-60 Chanter that normally uses a hybrid Mountain Crash/Blessing of Stone/Healing Burst stigma build. If you are not, then read on!

First and foremost, it should be mentioned again that, as a Daeva, she is an immortal being. This confers a number of benefits such as being highly resilient to injuries, sickness, toxins, and other dangers. Like other Daevas, she can shrug off blows that would be fatal to an ordinary human and venoms that would kill a mortal man in minutes is merely an inconvenience to her. This isn't to say that she can't die at all, it's just much harder to kill her than it would to kill a typical mortal. But even if she were to be killed, she, like all Daevas, is capable of returning to an Obelisk or Kisk where her body would be rejoined with their soul and be brought back to life. Although this means she can easily come back, she'll be significantly weakened from the experience and suffer from the debilitating effects of Soul Sickness for awhile after ressurecting. But, given a little time, she'll be just fine. Permanent death is possible if she were to die too far away from an Obelisk or a Kisk, though it seems as though she'd need to be an extreme distance away.

In terms of her particular abilities, she's capable of manipulating aether (again, like other Daevas). Cashandra has chosen to focus her abilities primarily in more beneficial arts as a skilled healer and is capable of healing even grievous injuries. She can even revive the recently dead on the spot as well in a manner similar to her own way of self-ressurection (the ressurectee will be weak and sick too), even if their body is destroyed. She lacks the talent to cure illness and poisons, but her general healing is strong enough to keep someone alive until the ailment passes through their systems (though her talents in alchemy can help her get around that). Her other strong point is protecting and strengthening herself and others. She can make allies more resilient, move faster, strike harder, and even shield them from attacks.

Though she detests combat, she is an expert at wielding a staff. The irony of her being so proficient in combat, yet hating it, is not lost on her in the least bit, but she does what she must to defend her homeland. She tends to weave Aether into her attacks, making them not only strike harder, but also inflict debilitating effects on her opponents which can include slowed movement, dazing, and general fatigue. She's also quite strong and is quite capable of knocking down even large opponents off of their with a single strike of her staff.

Like all Daevas, she is capable of using Aether to produce a pair of wings and fly. She is just as adept of a fighter in airborne combat as she is on foot. Against grounded opponents, she is all too happy to abuse the advantage flight gives her over them.

And finally, she's an expert cook, a journeyman alchemist, and a novice handicrafter. Aside from just tasting good, her food, when using the right ingredients and a little bit of aetheric energy, can strengthen those who eat it for a short time. Or with the right essence, even temporarily transform them. While she's not as skilled in it, her talents in alchemy allow her to create beneficial potions, magical scrolls, spellbooks, and several other things. Handicrafting is just something she got into and is only capable of making some of the more simple and less powerful bows, staves, and jewelry.

Other Notes

-I've not played much past version 3.1, so I'm not up to date on what's going on in Aion right now.

-Ordinary humans, be warned! She may very well mistake you for an Elyos, which could lead to a tense first encounter, if not outright combat. Elyos and Asmodians are at war and often attack each other on sight. This can be left out on request though.

-Anthropomorphic repites and nagas, also be warned! Cashandra may mistake you for a Balaur, which the Asmodians and the Elyos are both at war with as well. Since she considers the Balaur to be a much bigger threat than the Elyos, so those characters are more likely to have trouble convincing her that they're not a Balaur. But again, can be left out on request.

-As said above, Cashandra can be worked into non-Aion settings too. Her powers can be adjusted to fit said setting as needed.

-It may not be obvious in the above or below pictures, but Asmodians have a mane on their back as well as claws on their fingers and toes. Their eyes also glow red when they're angry or in combat.

-Cashandra is listed as a human and not a demi-human for Aion lore reasons. Asmodians are humans who simply adapted to their harsher environment. The ones who are not Daevas are, like non-Daevic Elyos, referred to as human, both by the lore and characters in-game.

-Cashandra does have a home in-game. It's in Seven Peaks Village in Pernon. But just a regular home though, not one of the bigger ones. If you're totally unaware of what that place looks like, I can always describe it in the RP if the scene ends up there.

OOC Stuff

-This may be an Aion character, but I'm using a different name from the one I use in-game. So looking up "Cashandra" on the site will not get you me, if it does get someone at all.

-If I'm busy or about to go, that doesn't mean I'm not interested. I may be willing to arrange for a RP at a later time!

-If I don't reply to your whisper, I may have missed it or be away. I don't intentionally ignore people unless they're jerks or creepy.

-My time zone is GMT -6, though I'm typically up a bit late.

-When you whisper me, please do so out of character unless I'm planning to resume a RP with you.

Same shot as above, except full body and zoomed out more.

A for fun shot of Cashandra punching out Gulux, aka Ice Norris.

And one with her hanging out with Yamnes Painflare, one of the bosses who's yet to be legitimately beaten in Aion. She's also showing off her wings here too!

An older picture of her with pig tails. This was her profile picture for a long time.

As a Daeva, a powerful divine being, Cashandra is quite a tough opponent. She's excellent at stopping incoming damage and recover what does come through. Additionally, she can boost her own strength and weaken enemies a bit as well. As such, one must not take her lightly.

Vore Types: Oral, Anal, Unbirth

Traits

-Prepared: With a long life of experience and dealing with fighting, Cashandra knows better than not to be ready for combat at any moment. As such, she starts the battle with Blessing of Health, a Promise Of ability of her choice, and a Mantra of her choice applied.

-Claws: Anytime Cashandra beats her opponent by 5 when attempting to hold them, escape a hold, or escape from their insides, she inflicts 1 HP worth of damage with her claws. This damage is non-lethal, cannot be increased, and does not proc any Promise effects.

-Divine Resilience: As a Daeva, she is naturally much harder to effect with debilitating effects. Anything that negatively affects her rolls has a -2 penalty. This does not apply to other effects, such as damage, so it's possible for an ability to cause damage but fail to penalize her rolls.

Example: Betty uses the Example Blast ability against Cashandra (-2 modifier, 1 damage) and rolls an 11. Cashandra rolls a 10 in response. Because of Divine Resilience, the -2 modifier is treated as if Betty rolled a 9, so it fails. However, the damage goes unmodified and hits Cashandra for 1 HP.

-Divine Power: At the start of a battle, Cashandra begins with 4,000 "Divine Points", which are used up when casting Divine Powers. She can only gain more Divine Points in a multi-battle by successfully inflicting the final blow on an opponent, in which case she gains 1,000 DP. In a 1 vs 1 match, she has no way to gain more.

-Team Player: Cashandra has several abilities which can affect friends and allies should she ever find herself in a team multi-battle.

-Aetheric Powers: Cashandra's abilities are grounded in the use and manipulation of Aether. As such, most beings are unable to learn or mimic these abilities at all due to their inability to manipulate aether.

Abilities

-Blessing of Health: Cashandra's maximum health is raised by 50%, which in most cases would give her 15 HP, for the duration of the battle. It can be dispelled (and reapplied), in which case she immediately loses the benefit. This can result in some tricky math, but if she were to lose it at 14 HP, she would drop to 8 HP. If she took 2 more HP damage, dropping to 6, before recasting it, her new health value would then be 9. Basically, she gets 1 HP for every 2 she has when casted. She can also cast this on allies, provided she can see them.

-Promise of Wind/Earth/Aether: Cashandra has three Promise Of abilities, but only may have one up at a given time and they can be dispelled (and recasted). Casting a new one overwrites the other. These last the duration of the battle. When successfully winning a roll, she rolls again. On a 19+, one of the following effects occur.

*Wind: She inflicts 1 point of non-lethal damage. This damage cannot cause Promise of Wind to trigger again and is unaffected by Victory and Invincibility Mantras.

*Earth: Her opponent suffers a -1 penalty to all rolls for 3 rounds.

*Aether: She recovers 1 HP of damage.

-Mantras: These abilities provide benefits to Cashandra and any allies. She may only have one up at any given time (I know, Aion actually allows three, but that'd be broken in a vore battle). She can change them at any time without pausing to do so and may act normally or use other abilities in that same round, though she must wait 2 rounds before changing again, and they cannot be dispelled. The effects depend on the Mantra.

*Victory: All damage inflicted, except from claws and Promise of Wind, is increased by 1.

*Intensity: Doubles the effects of Promise of Wind/Earth/Aether and causes them to proc on a roll of 16+ instead. Has a similar effect on ally chances to proc certain skills, if applicable.

*Shield: Reduces all damage take by 1, to a minimum of 1.

*Celerity: +2 bonus to rolls during the start and +1 during the hold phase.

*Protection: Opponent abilities suffer a -2 to their rolls on affecting Cashandra and her allies.

*Revival: Restores 1 HP every 5 rounds.

*Enhancement: Cashandra and her allies cannot be put into a state of helplessness, such as stunning, sleeping, etc.

*Invincibility: Combines the effects of Victory and Shield, but Cashandra may only choose this Mantra as part of her Prepared trait and may not switch to another.

-Soul Strike: At the start of battle, or if Cashandra winds up in a situation where she's not engaged in holding or voring, Cashandra may make a ranged attack against her opponent. If she wins the roll, the opponent takes 1 damage and is stunned for two rounds. Note that this ability doesn't actually mess with the victim's soul, it's just the name of the ability.

-Soul Lock: After a successful Soul Strike, Cashandra may opt to follow-up with Soul Lock. If successful, which in most cases she will be since the opponent is stunned, Cashandra inflicts another point of damage and prevents the opponent from using any abilities for three rounds. Note that this ability doesn't actually mess with the victim's soul, it's just the name of the ability.

-Recovery Spell: Cashandra may cast a powerful healing spell on herself or, in a team multi-battle, an ally provided she can see them. This takes a full turn and Cashandra cannot escape or fight back during this turn. She does not roll the dice. If an opponent rolls a 16+, Cashandra will get interrupted and fail to cast the spell, even if she won the roll. If she's not interrupted, the spell will be successful and the target will immediately recover 1 HP and 1 more HP every other round for a total of 5 HP. If successful, Cashandra must wait 10 rounds before casting again (mostly to prevent her from abusing it).

-Protective Ward: For 3 rounds, all damage taken by Cashandra is reduced by half, rounded down for a minimum of 1, before any other sources of damage reduction is considered. This ability is always successful but Cashandra still rolls to prevent her opponent from taking action in their favor. Cashandra must wait 10 rounds before casting again.

-Binding Word: On successful cast, her opponent is afflicted with a -1 to all attempts to escape holds or vore and cannot use abilities for 2 rounds. If successfully casted, Cashandra must wait 6 rounds before casting again.

-Rise: Whenever Cashandra is put into a state that renders her helpless (such as stunning, sleeping, etc.) or is subject to a multi-turn, non-vore move that requires escape, she may use Rise to break free. Rise is always used successfully if there isn't any abilities in play that interfere with it, but the opponent still automatically wins the round it is used on. If she successfully casts Rise, she must wait 10 rounds before casting it again.

-Stamina Discharge: Removes the oldest debilitative effect from Cashandra caused from a non-passive ability, regardless of it's duration. If she successfully casts Stamina Discharge, she must wait 10 rounds before casting it again.

Example: Cashandra is affected by a -4 applied 2 rounds ago, a -2 4 rounds ago, and a permanent -1 applied 10 rounds ago, Energy Release will remove the -1.

-Unstoppable: For the next 3 rounds, Cashandra ignores any negative modifiers to her rolls and positive modifiers to her opponent's rolls when applying debilitating effects, such as debuffs and stuns. Similar to Divine Resilience, the damage portion remains unmodified. If she successfully casts Unstoppable, she must wait 15 rounds before casting it again.

Example: Cashandra is at -7 and her opponent is at +10. The opponent uses a skill to do one damage and stun her. The stun portion is treated as if Cashandra was at +0 and her opponent at -2, the negative modifier because of Divine Resilience. The damage would use the existing -7 and +10 modifiers.

Team Abilities

These are only available if Cashandra is teamed up with someone. If you're doing a 1v1 match against her, feel free to skip down to her last section.

-Aetheric Field: In a team multi-battle, Cashandra may opt to cast this over Protective Ward (they share the same cooldown). This has the same effects as Protective Ward, but affects all allies, provided she can see them, as well. Additionally, this shield can only block up to 5 damage before falling.

Example: Cashandra is teamed with Bill. Cashandra casts Aetheric Field. Elisa uses a finisher on Bill that inflicts 10 damage. Because of Aetheric Field, Bill only takes 5 damage. However, because the shield blocked 5 damage for Bill, he is no longer protected. Cashandra's shield remains unaffected.

-Word of Life: In a team multi-battle, Cashandra may opt to cast this over Recovery Spell (they share the same cooldown). This has the same effects as Recovery Spell, but affects all allies, provided she can see them. Additionally, this recovers health slower at a rate of every third turn for a maximum of 4 HP.

Divine Powers

These are considered to be Cashandra's Ultimate/Finisher type moves. They always succeed, regardless of rolls, as long as there isn't anything preventing Cashandra from using abilities outright. Cashandra still rolls when activating them to stop her opponent from winning the roll, however, but won't advance anything in her favor.

-Marchutan's Protection: Costs 2,000 DP. Cashandra inflicts 50% extra damage, rounded up with a minimum of +1, with all sources of damage except for her claws for three rounds.

-Word of Wind: Costs 2,000 DP. Cashandra, and all allies she can see, get +4 to their rolls in holding, escaping holds, and escaping from the insides of predators for five rounds.

-Tremor: Costs 4,000 DP. Cashandra leaps into the air and throws a burst of divine energy at the ground, sending out a powerful shockwave. All opponents she can see immediately take 3 damage and are stunned for 1 round. Additionally, she and all allies she can see, get a shield which blocks all damage for 2 rounds. This shield overwrites the effects of Protective Ward and Aetheric Field.

-Stilling Word: Costs 4,000 DP. All opponents that Cashandra can see suffer -2 to their rolls for holding, escape holds, and escaping the insides of predators and are unable to use any abilities for 5 rounds.

Record: 0 wins - 0 draws - 2 losses

-Cashandra ran into White_Mage_Leaf and, mistaking her for an Elyos, attacked on sight. In a very, very long battle with much back and forth, Cashandra almost won as she brought Leaf down to a single hit point. Miraculously, Leaf managed to escape and turned the tables. It took a long time of struggling from there, but Cashandra was eventually absorbed in Leaf's womb.

-In a follow-up match, Cashandra took on Zelshara after the woman took down Ahnia. She launched a vicious opening, but immediately had the momentum turned on her and was taken down to an inch of her life. She escaped and managed a lot of back and forth, but eventually ended up getting swallowed and digested.
