TL;DR: Bubbly college student with self esteem issues, and a habit of overeating. Starved of meaningful human interaction and will not let go once she's given a taste.

Caroline is the youngest of three sisters. In some families this is one of the easiest places to be, but others, like Caroline's are the opposite. Perhaps all the good genes ran out by the time Leighla and Brie Spicer were born, because it seemed like Caroline just didn't have any of the gifts they did. She wasn't athletic, she wasn't very driven, and she was a solid C+ student at best, and all of this created a feedback loop with her parents that only made things worse. Her father's angry outbursts would send her crying to her room and tought her rage, and her mother's condescension and barely hidden favoritism tought her self-loathing.

A family like Caroline'c creates some character traits, some strategies used just to get by. The one she spent the most time honing and perfecting, was seclusion! All of the family drama could easily be escaped with the twist of a lock, and a blanket to curl up under. This was easy! She could read a book, draw, eat, play video games, eat, watch tv shows, eat, and eat! This was such an effective strategy that she carried it with her into young adulthood, where suddenly her metabolism wasn't quite up to the task.

When her senior year of highschool was over, her parents spent every last ounce of love they had for her and sent her off to college across the state, which is where we meet her now. Look at her! Isn't she great?

Recently Caroline has found a very good recipe for blueberry pie. This blueberry pie, and other desserts, often make up at least 3 pounds of her body weight at any given time, and if we're talking about the weight she's put on as a result of such indulgences, the number is probably close to 15.
